Hey All, If you receive a friend Request from someone called LegoMaster-88 don't accept them/
Their account has been hacked/compromised and tried to steal my account details.

Thankfully, they were using a scam method that is still commonplace among them so it was easy to see through it.

Then it progresses to look at friend Death and shows a video on Death getting banned. Dude will mention something about a false report and will then link you to another steam person called Jason L. Mitchell. This person will ask for steam gift card purchases. DO NOT BUY them and DO NOT Give him the code. He will take the codes and claim he got an "error".
1. Do not respond to any weird "Hello, can I talk to you"
2. If you see one of your steam friends showing a video of a steam user called Deathsomething getting banned don't respond.The video is fake as is the steam user.
3. If Jason L. Mitchell or another profile gets renamed to that DO NOT add them as a steam friend

Yup, received that message, looked super trustworthy (which is the reson you probably fell for it...) and same thing happened to me. Not even Steam Guard on my phone could keep me safe...

Clearly, I got my account back now as well haha

Alright everyone account update time. Yesterday around 1:20 PM Arizonan time my account was hacked by a false link. i clicked on it and entered my steam username and password into it. As you can see from the messages you all got it was logged into the website and then proceeded to hijack my account. I created a ticket with steam support and got my account back today around 5:30 AM Arizonan time. To everyone it tried to scam I'm deeply sorry and promise to be more alert for scams like this.

P.S. If you didn't read this yet then feel free to send me a message and ask if the link is real. It isn't but i have 200+ people on friends list so i don't expect everyone to read this post.
