If you think this game looks (and sounds) cool you should totally buy it, but you should know the game is story-first when you're playing the story mode. (That mode name don't like.) The story itself is very intentional in making you feel negative emotion when it wants you to feel them and it's somewhat subtle with how it gives away the whole basis of the plot in the final moments. People saying it's got plot holes should go watch more movies. (I would also advise to consider rebinding the rhythm controls early on, the default is yucky imo.)

Takes away some of the more frustrating parts of the Trails in the Sky gameplay and replaces it with more thoughtful encounter design and full featured dungeon crawling, while the story becomes a very personal and character driven affair that sends off the Sky series while developing some of (my favorite) characters a lot.

Only advice is that the doors aren't optional!

Best RPG I've played in a long ass time

Destiny is more MMO than shooter, but what makes it better than the competition is just how good the shooting feels. There are games with more content, better told stories, better cosmetics, and more regular updates but none of them have as good of a core gameplay as Destiny does,

The biggest turn off about this game is how it will make you do activities you dislike to get things you desperately need-- most notably things like getting the best gun in the game rn through competitive multiplayer. They made it much easier to gain points for this gun specifically, but it can still frustrate people to be forced to play a subclass they don't like or use a type of gun they dislike as well. Sometimes you have to do all three of those, and you're left just feeling frustrated.

But despite that I play this game even more religiously than real MMOs I sub to-- so I guess I'm just that kind of person.
