Childhood feels. This was my favorite game at one point. It holds up well.

I LOVE IT!

If you like a short (20 level) casual game about rotating pipes so that the fluids reach their destinations, this is for you. On sale, the price is reasonable.
Blue must reach blue, and orange must reach orange.

Easy 100%

Fun game and i can actually figure it out, unlike some other logic games.

Cannot run it with DX12 Shader 6.5. Even though the Hardware Requirements do not clearly say it, "This Game Requires a DX12 GPU with Shader model 6.6 and Atomic64 support."

Unless they change the game or someone comes up with a bypass, I cannot play it. This sucks; I really wanted to play it!

2 hours in: I'm loving it so far.

Will update as I play it further. No game-breaking bugs in the first 2 hours.

I'm a major tintin fan, so i was very excited to purchase this game.

Parts are hilarious, and tintin is voiced reasonably. For some reason I thought he was taller, but whatever. It's a good adaptation of the comic.

Forget the "do the QTE event without messing up" achievements. The person on Youtube (who played the entire game in <7 hours) did a car race perfectly in 3-5 minutes. It took me 30+ minutes, and most of that time on the same section: switchback or getting stuck on invisible walls. ("Oh no, a cliff! that's the last thing we need!" feels imprinted on my ears.)

Once, I went from 30% to 0% in a second or less, it seemed. They just don't give you enough time to catch up. I did --eventually--get ONE QTE achievement.

I'll finish getting the bones and photos, then uninstall.

The ancient egyptian religion was too prominent for my tastes, especially when the one fella is going in circles invoking the names of egyptian gods. That is a hard puzzle and i was sick of those soundbytes by the time i was done.

Oh, and the game looks stupidly bleached (little or no midtones or dark colors) if you don't have shadows on at least high. It looks really good on very high, however, if you can run it.

I HATE non-skippable cutscenes (at least during a replay!), and this game features that. This especially hurts if you enjoy reloading to see different dialogue choices. There were a (very) few glitches when a level reloaded (escaping prison and the chase after the unmasking), but nothing game-breaking. One of the shortcuts in the 2nd car chase gave me 100% damage on a clear road every time.

But those unskippable, non-doable QTE things majorly sucked. They would be fun if you had a game-mode that provided more time/distance.

The music was very nice, and I could figure out most of the puzzles without help. I really appreciate this.
The Thompson "twins" were hilarious.

I look forward to the sequel.

For parents: as expected, this game has no onscreen violence, no bad language that i recall, nor sex. References to tobacco (obviously!) and alcohol.

TL;DR 7/10. I hate the QTE events (too little time/following distance) and look forward to the sequel.

Fun game!

It took me too long to realize that the bandit, when confronted by the sheriff, dropped resources.

Different than Ace Patrol, but still loads of fun.

This game is very very simple. You cannot push any of the controls with the keyboard, and controllers aren't supported.

You have to click on the controls, and of course can only click one thing at a time. You cannot back up. As soon as you let go of the accelerator, it immediately applies the brakes and stops the train. You can't switch views while driving the train. Within 2 seconds of pushing the "go" button, you are at your max speed of 70 kph. Within 5 seconds of letting go of "go" at 70 kph you are stopped.
The red handle does nothing, or if it does, it is useless (because, again, the brakes are on full as soon as you release the blue handle--before you can move the mouse over to the red handle).

The steam engine has a diesel horn :-) It's a nice horn. The rail sounds are also nice.

The graphics are decent for such games--maybe on par with Microsoft Train Simulator (circa 2005), though that old game had more variation in graphics.

Level 2 (or was it level 3) showed me that you sometimes have to set the switch ahead of you--but if you go too far forward before switching that switch, you have to restart the level, as you cannot back up. If you hit a track obstruction, the level fails. You have a limited time to complete the level.

If you can get this for the sale price of $1.09-- and you want it--go for it. $20 for this game is absurd.

PS: The distant landscape backgrounds are nice enough.
