DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH

Quienes estuvieron esperando por la versión de PC van a quedar maravillados. Es todo lo que esta bien. Se trata de un Port en condiciones que funciona realmente bien, además de ofrecer un nivel de calidad excepcional. Técnicamente es uno de los juegos más bonitos que he visto jamas, tiene escenas que quedan grabadas a fuego en la retina, y ni hablar, del carrusel de emociones que supone su historia. Un viaje demoledor con el que reflexionar acerca de todo. Kojima y compañía demuestra, una vez más, su capacidad para conectar personas y sentimientos con un juego que no tiene altibajos. Bueno, su precio es un muro enorme, (considerando que lleva más de un año en el mercado de PlayStation), sin embargo, vale cada centavo. Es mucho más que un videojuego, se siente como si fuese un mundo completamente independiente con una absurda cantidad de contenido. Da gusto perderse observando sus paisajes, tiene tanta belleza por detrás, que es un crimen no dedicarle el tiempo que merece. No es parar pacientes. Es un juego que requiere de mucha paciencia para navegar por sus menus, para comprender sus mecanicas, para aprovechar mejor sus funciones y disfrutar de todo lo que tiene para ofrecer. Además, la comunidad de PC extenderá su vida por años con todos los mods que van a preparar. Ojala este no sea el final del camino para los exclusivos de PlayStation en PC, y el resto de SinglePlayers tambien encuentre su camino a Steam.

Death Stranding 2 On the Beach es una obra de autor como solo Kojima es capaz de ofrecer, demuestra que un videojuego puede ser mucho más que entretenimiento, es una ventana hacia la reflexión, llevando un peso que muchos otros títulos simplemente no pueden.

La serie NIOH siempre se ha caracterizado por pisar el umbral entre un hack-and-slash y el SoulsLike promedio, lo cual no está nada mal. Es un juego que se destaca por su tendencia hacia la acción más directa, con una enorme variedad de estilos y clases de combate. Si bien, la formula no ha mostrado agotamiento alguno en sus más de dos entregas, con todo el boom del mundo abierto, el estudio ha incorporado muchas de las virtudes que hicieron tan especial a su “Rise of the Ronin”, sin perder de vista a ELDEN RING.

En un género que ha comenzado a mostrar ciertos rasgos de agotamiento, Team Ninja ha encontrado la forma de reinventar su estilo de juego sin perder una pizca de su identidad. NIOH 3 llega para recordarnos que existe margen de mejora, y que no todos los cambios suelen ser malos. Su acercamiento hacia el mundo abierto encuentra su mejor rostro gracias a regiones interactivas diseñadas con mucha creatividad. La exploración es tan placentera que nunca sabes que encontraras a la vuelta de la esquina. Además, la dualidad en su sistema de combate a partir de tres poses para el Samurai y un gadget de herramientas para el Ninja lo convierten en los dos rostros de la misma moneda: profundo, completo y complejo.

No pude evitar recordar a TENCHU o Genji y todo lo que se ha perdido en las generaciones. NIOH 3 recupera ese espíritu, y no solo eso, sino que tambien le estampa su sello con ese folklore oscuro que tanto gusta. No faltan los Yokais, guardianes y las criaturas fantásticas, es más, incluso han dedicado purgatorios exclusivos para quienes desean mirar de cerca a ese infierno de llamas y sangre. NIOH 3 es un RPG con mucha personalidad: Salvaje, frenético y sangriento. Quizás recicla demasiado contenido. Tal vez la curva de dificultad se pincha hacia el final. El rendimiento necesita claramente de algunas actualizaciones para mostrar su mejor estado. Sin embargo, quienes tengan la paciencia y fuerza para soportar sus imperfecciones encontraran uno de los mejores juegos que el género tiene para ofrecer.
