Horrendously optimised, fine okay, early access whatever.
Fighting physics are worse than the demo? Sluggish, unresponsive, less fun? Okay, they can fix that it wouldn't take too long.
Blood textures broken on every map? But it worked before? Okay...
The floor isn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ solid on the first map of the game?

I have literally less than 30 minutes in this game and I have found more bugs than developers have in months of development.

The issues hasn't been the bugs and breaks and whatever, it's how easily found some of these problems are. It is a testament to the laziness of their QA that they clearly haven't even PLAYED the first map of the game, or they would have noticed immediately.

Devs jumped the gun at midrange pricing and while the game could recover, I don't think their public perception ever will.

Optimization is not too bad now, actually quite playable. Lot of content added recently, and I have been very much enjoying it.

Generally this game reminds me of a south-east-asia set Ghost Recon: Wildlands in 1st person with tactical elements. Lots of fun.

I'm torn. It's an amazing game ruined by enemy AI that constantly and consistently fires through walls and cover with perfect accuracy, every time. I get shooting the cover you watched a guy walk into, but following him behind that cover, through rooms and walls? Meth addicts and ex-military have the same level of zero hesitation, and accuracy that would make Chris Kyle squirm.

Gas is basically unusable, as the stun from it lasts a couple seconds and the AI can hit you straight through it right after like they're running thermals on operation locker. Gunplay is incredible, weapon and equipment mechanics are so much fun, but it is all let down by this issue. It is literally impossible to go through a mission without multiple team members getting hit several times, which should not be the case, when you plan, prepare and utilise equipment properly.


I love the new friendly AI systems, and the incredible work put into the game for release, but this is issue is still as bad as it was 2 updates ago.

Overall? Get this game, and get the inevitable community mod update that makes it actually playable.
And before you "skill issue", I literally did not ask.

31/7 Update: AI still broken, but DLC is fun. Can they please stop making methheads into the terminator

Pretty sick game constantly updated and given fresh new content. Cant wait to fight alongside the PLA.

ICO is incredible, makes being a soldier as terrifying as you'd expect it to be.
Those who downrate the game because of this are lost cod players
