I'm positively surprised with the new routes, in particular with Frankfurt-Fulda: the route is very interesting, from a landscape perspective and from a gameplay perspective (not only a boring lzb hispeed route).

However, I'm giving a bad review because, usual DTG bugs aside, the game is missing some key features, that are already present in games that cost much less, like SimRail , for instance:
- a WORKING ETCS implementation
- longer routes (with 3+ hours scenarios)
- multiplayer
- ...

Furthermore, the games has a critical issue with new content, that often is not supported on older routes/dlcs, and the available timetables are often quite lacking, since they often support only most recent/popular(?) trains.

Sometimes unplayable with pzb due to some signals displaying green when they should be yellow (especially in the power predicament scenario) and wrong speeds in the signals around pasing

I see a lot of people complaining about the DLC, I think that new rolling stock requires a lot of additional resources and the price is justified.
They still do not take advantage of their customers like DTG, as the big update on April 22nd, with ETCS, was completely free and anything but lazily implemented.

As expected, a TSW3 clone without any significant bug fixes.
The new content could have been easily released as DLC, without having to pay the entire game again.

For the rest, always the same things, lots of bugs, messy cataloging of trains/routes, fake unusable new features like ETCS on the Class 801, indecent framerate, wrong signals and safety systems, recycled sounds for completely different trains, lazy implementation (without updating old content) for new features, and so on.

For its price, I expected something more.
The route is kinda ok. Its graphic is a little poor, but tracks&signals were quite on point.

What bothers me though are trains, especially the BR 425, since it's my all-time-favorite train: why can't you use it on other routes, that already support its older version? It has been always possible for any train, using the version you like more.

My suspicion is that they claimed to have implemented support for LZB, but really you can just turn it on, without having any effect whatsoever. So, it's easier for dovetail to have it only usable on a route that has no LZB equipped. However, it's sufficient to try it on a custom scenario (I tried köln aachen) to realize it is not working at all.

Add the ever worse framerate, the bugged sifa indicator, the pzb button that only plays a sound the first time, and many other things and you have a picture of what you paid so much for

- Stop boards: in game you will often see stop boards with a 4 on them (probably the devs intended 4 cars) but in switzerland they indicate the stop point based on the length of the train (1->100m, 2->200m, etc). Weird to see a 4 stop board on a station that is 100m long then
- Signum: the signum warns the driver only when the signal is passed, not before. That should apply only in etcs. The sound is better than I expected but it should beep 2 times after the first beep is aknowledged.
- ETCS: sometimes the ETCS speed indicator drops down instantly when you're driving without any board with restriction or gradual descent.
- The train sound is decent, could be better though
- On curves the train often doesn't tilt even a little bit
- The brake efficiency is not that realistic, but I imagine it's hard to implement faithfully
- There are no mileage progressives
- Some frame drops on a 2070, but not that significant fortunately
- Signal repeaters (N type) showing yellow before a yellow signal. This is wrong because the repeater should show yellow only if the next signal is red.
- Signal at speed restrinction start (green with number, always N type) are put before red signals, when they should be just yellow (the speed restriction start in this case is implied)
- There are no color combination in L signal except green/double green and red/double yellow -> at start for example it should indicate 40 with green and yellow.

They patched out the PZB bug, now it is actually playable. And it is much fun as well.
It took like a year, but good job

Per quanto riguarda la parte tedesca un disastro: il caricamento dei tanti passeggeri causa molto lag, anche su un computer di fascia alta. Poi stessi treni si comportano molto diversamente dagli stessi identici in altre tratte, per esempio con un rilascio del freno non molto responsivo. Un peccato, visto che con l'ICE 3 era anche abbastanza gradevole

A huge disappointment, given the high quality standards I was used to with Train Sim World 2 and the high potential of this swiss route.
Too many defects, like AI, misplaced gradients, train handling and many more.

I hope that devs from Rivet Games will put a bit more effort if they ever make the gotthardroute
