Beautifully crafted scenarios, with some really nice lil' touches adding more details to objects. It's hard not wanting to screenshot everything! haha...

Narrative-driven games are my favorite and The Descendant's story is quite an interesting one, with some tension building moments, a very cool IRL introduction and characters' backgrounds built on flashbacks.
Game gives you plenty of information and choices' take is quite similar to other great narrative-driven games like The Wolf Among Us and Sam&Max.

Unfortunately, there are some buggy things that may get you stuck at some places because you can't really control the camera to move to where you need it too. I had to quit and restart a few times.
Even so, I totally recommend the game for the interesting story and beautiful scenarios.

If you liked Gangs of New York and always wanted to cut people like Bill the Butcher, in the decadent streets of a Victorian wild scenary, this is the game for you! :D

Antihero is a great PC boardgame with interesting level designs and a cross-platform multiplayer, so you can butch your friends from the living room or the bedroom. Better appreciated on crazy solo skirmish or in the wild parties you hold with your drunk friends! Cheers!

Just a bunch of horrible "acting" and strange camera rec.
If you want to make experimental films and be taken seriously, don't cast people who can't even make a serious face. Even if you have a nice concept, you destroy your whole project by simply casting the wrong people and not properly directing the team.

Buuut... nor everything was bad: one or other interesting concepts, plus the very few good acting in one or another (claps for the kid actor, some of the villain guys and specially that funny fat guy from ep5).

This game has a very cool story and well-done graphics. It mixes the traditional match-board MahJong levels with some very nice ColorFlow/CrossPath line puzzles to unlock new things.
Although I really love the story and the general gameplay of this game, the "limited energy" scheme is very irritating to deal with. It's pretty much one of those Windows Store / Facebook / Mobile games that make you spend money if you want to play more than a certain limited number of matches per time. If you play it very casually, you won't suffer much with this taken that MahJong matches take some time to finish in general (though limited here by a timer, which combined with the energy scheme is really ridiculous). Yet I do recommend playing this game coz of the story and gameplay.

This studio is not "for humans only"! =)<

Experiments.
Some of the best things created in the world were made possible thanks to experiments.
Oats Studio brought that experiments culture to the film industry and have been creating some really entertaining pieces of short movies and conceptual stories.
Many of these concepts deserve to become full movies or streaming series (and I personally hope Netflix pick it up, after projects like Spectral and DARK), like the amazing ADAM universe. There is a lot of creativeness going on here!

Unfortunately the film industry is plagued by a lack of willing to listen to ideas worth being developed and year after year, we see more remakes and "american adaptations" of foreign movies (because it's way easier cloning others than writing an original script) and the "rise of the bored riches" who wake up and decide one morning they are film makers (coz adopting a poor black kid is not pop right now, so let's make a movie instead!) and have their movies made because they have the right contacts and free money.
We're seeing (always) a crescent number of grads who leave the univer full of creative ideas, with dreams of creating beautiful things just to end up working fixing stuff for others and part-timing at McD's or worse. And so those ideas die without never really being heard/read by someone who could make it possible.
Neill Blomkamp knows pretty well that sometimes you just need your ideas to reach the right people and someone to give you a chance to bring your project into light.

Oats Studio gives us hope that someday we'll see again the era of great Sci-Fi and horror original movies like we had in the 80s with movies like The Thing, Terminator and Alien series for example.
We need more Akiras! We need more ADAMs!

Buy it and support Oats Studio make more experimental stuff that may turn into big stuff!
Plus you get plenty of extras from the bigger projects for a ridiculous price.
Sincerely, the digital assets included are extremely interesting for anyone who enjoys or want to work with areas like film production, conceptual art, creative direction, game design...

It's just amazing to see a studio sharing its assets with the community and having such a good interaction with it.
Thank you, Oats Studio and Neill B.! =)

One of the best and easiest platforms to learn & use to create your own 2D/arcade/puzzle/platformer games!
It counts with simple yet powerful tools, an intuitive interface and there are many tutorials to follow in the website.

It's great for beginners, but can go all the way to professional applications with zero to mininum coding.
It's specially interesting if you're a Web Developer with a love for interaction or if you're a Game Designer and want an easy-to-deal platform to make fully functional, interactive prototypes for your future projects.

Scirra is awesome and has built great trust and communication with its community of game devs and appreciators.

The Night of the Rabbit is an absolutely gorgeous game: a wonderfully hand-crafted visual, a very charming story that's worth a fairytale book (as dark as lovely), very realistic characters with backstories and a beautiful soundtrack.

It's a masterpiece game crafted with just so much passion in every single detail, from art to story and music.
Every character was created in such a way that they are as real as they could be.

I bought it back at release date after watching the trailer on a German conference and I super recommend you buying the Premium Edition at full price coz it's totally worth it and let's you dwelve deeper in this fantastic world with original arts, excellent audiobooks with background stories and the amazing soundtrack.

It's hard to describe my feelings for The Night of the Rabbit... it's my favorite Daedalic game and I consider it a piece of art! It deserves every single award it won and many more.

Thank you, Matthias Kempke & Daedalic, for creating something so dear I'll take with me forever.

One of the best logic puzzle games I've ever played!
The gameplay is fantastic and the art style honors Escher beautifully!
Totally worth buying full-priced for the creativeness and passion put it in this game!

It has a catchy sad story brought to life by its chiaroscuro sceneries and your journey through mind puzzles.
You will have a hard time figuring out how to solve some of the puzzles and you will certainly want to replay for better solutions once you're done!
