This game is very well crafted, and throughout the entire playthrough I did not encounter a single bug. Its mechanics and overall atmosphere clearly draw inspiration from classic games with fixed camera angles and puzzle-based gameplay, while offering improved visuals.
After completing the game with the first character, the option to play through the story with a second character becomes available, with an ending that differs from the initial playthrough. The narrative itself is a matter of personal taste. While the core idea does not feel particularly original, I found it interesting to explore the surrounding world and gradually figure out what led to the events taking place.The only aspect I did not enjoy was the arena mode; however, it is completely optional and unrelated to the main storyline, so I don’t see it as a flaw at all.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the game, and in my opinion, it stands as one of the strongest representatives of its genre.

The game is made in the style of good old Resident Evil and Silent Hill, so I could not pass by this game. The game has a very cool inventory system, I have not seen anything like it anywhere, and I really liked it, as well as a large number of different monsters, a huge number of different weapons, a large mansion to explore, interesting puzzles and several bosses. But the game also has no less number of bugs, from passing through walls to freezing the character due to interaction with some objects (DO NOT GO TO THE COMPUTER :) ). The character does not move, no matter what buttons you press, but the whole game does not freeze, the flashlight can be turned on / off. Also, sometimes this happens when changing weapons and trying to aim and shoot, the character stands helplessly while monsters beat him. But the advantages include the fact that there is an automatic save when entering almost every room, so loading the game save is not a problem. I understood that there should have been 2 scenarios A and B, but now only scenario A is available. When I finished the game, it turned out that scenario B was in development. But scenario A itself is quite long and self-contained!

At the moment, I cannot recommend this game to everyone, this game requires very strong nerves and a lot of love for games of this genre. The game is not finished and is in early access. If the developer finishes the game, fixes most of the bugs, scenario B appears, then I definitely recommend the game to everyone. Personally, I like the game in this form, its pros outweigh the cons in my opinion.

I have been waiting so long to step foot in the foggy streets of Silent Hill again! It has been about 15 years. I was really hoping that the old Silent Hill 2 would still be available and I could add it to my library, but what I didn’t expect was a remake. This remake is AMAZING! It feels like I’m playing the same old game but in a different way. It has so many references to the original (like Maria looking at Maria’s “previous” outfit and asking if it would suit her), it’s gorgeous!

The atmosphere, the sounds, the music and the graphics are amazing. I don’t think I can say that I like the remake more than the original because when I played the original I didn’t know what to expect, I didn’t know how the story would end, we lived the story with James, experiencing a storm of emotions. But playing the remake, I already know where the story is going, even though everything is different, the story is still the same. But still, every location, every reference, monsters and everything around, makes me happy, additionally catching flashbacks of emotions that I experienced while playing the old SH2.

I could write about this game endlessly, but still, few people read my reviews, it's more like a cry from the heart, :) The SH2 remake is definitely a masterpiece, like the original SH2, of course I can't be sure that I would have liked the remake if I hadn't played the original, but I definitely recommend the game to all fans of this genre!

A very high-quality and interesting game, created in the best traditions of games of this genre, but with its own well-developed universe, the likes of which I have not encountered before, its own unique plot with possible development in future parts. Many interesting puzzles, but to solve one I had to look at the hint, perhaps someone was able to solve them all on their own, but for me one was especially difficult. There is a certain variety of monsters and weapons to destroy them. When fighting bosses, you will have to think (although not very much), and not just put as many bullets into them as possible. The game is not too drawn out and not too difficult, and this is its advantage, since some games artificially complicate and drag out the gameplay.
I really liked the game, I enjoyed playing it!
P.S. I hope the game will get a sequel, I'm looking forward to it!

My favorite series of RPG games is Baldur's Gate 1 and Baldur's Gate 2, after completing them I of course understood that the story was completed and there was unlikely to be a continuation, but still I hoped and waited...
I've been waiting 20+ years and it's finally happening! Since I have not played other Larian Studios projects, it was very unusual to play.
The mechanics of the game, the turn-based combat, everything has changed so much that I simply did not see in Baldur's Gate 3 the game that I loved so much earlier, of course this is not surprising, since the game was made by a completely different studio, with a completely different vision. And 20+ years have passed, so they added a bunch of new features to the game.
I was delighted with the game, but don’t get me wrong, I couldn’t see the good old Baldur’s Gate in it, although I was getting more and more drawn in with every minute.

But the further I played, the more I immersed myself in the game’s lore, read notes, explored all the nooks and crannies, and the feeling that this was not Baldur’s Gate faded away. This is not a continuation of the story, but a completely new story that took place in the same city and its environs more than 100 years after the first two parts of the game.

A great new adventure, with a grandiose plot, well-developed characters, everything is at the highest level. I especially liked playing as The Dark Urge, it was very unexpected for me (I won’t spoil it :)). Of course, there are bugs, but they are all so insignificant in comparison with the scale of the entire game that I see no reason to find fault with them. Moreover, patches are released regularly.
Of course, the feeling that this is not exactly the game that I loved so much 20+ years ago never completely went away, but I was very pleased while playing. This game will definitely take its place of honor among my favorite games!

This game is not just good, it's GREAT! The game will suit both players who love games with a third (or first person) view, and players who love the fixed camera mode, like in the good old Resident Evil and the like. You can choose your preferred in-game camera mode before launching the game. Some locations are different in different game modes, I think this is done in order to make it easier to fight monsters in fixed camera mode. Therefore, going through the game again, you will be able to see something new, something that you did not see last time. After beating the game, you will be able to unlock weapons with infinite ammo, different costumes and 5 different endings. So it makes sense to play NG+. The developers have tried to please everyone! :)
This game combines Resident Evil, Silent Hill, 5th Element and even Soul Reaver. Here you can find a reference to Alone in the Dark and Dino Crisis (but you will have to work hard to find it). In this game, the developers have invested a bunch of everything that they loved so much. But this combination of genres does not spoil the game at all. Playing through the game for the first time, without looking into any guides, I had a lot of fun exploring the game locations, reading all the notes, collecting all the items. It seemed to take me back to the time when I first played Resident Evil 1. Not knowing what was waiting for me around the corner, fearing every rustle, I slowly made my way through the mansion, solving various riddles, touching the doorknobs in an attempt to enter any room. .. I can write about it endlessly. :)

I definitely recommend this game to all fans of both the old line of Resident Evil games and those who liked Resident Evil 2, 3 Remake. I think even fans of Resident Evil 7, 8 will like the game, as you can choose a first-person camera (although I sort of wrote about this earlier :)). To be honest, I have not played in first person, but I think, like the rest of the modes, it works great.
Of course, the game is not without flaws, for example, in NG + you cannot choose the difficulty of the game. If you complete the game on hard difficulty, then NG+ will also be on hard difficulty. But on the other hand, you can go with one camera mode, and change it to another in NG +.
I think everyone can find both pros and cons for themselves, but for me this game is definitely 9.7/10

It's a great idea to control the game through your phone. Sitting in front of the TV with friends, everyone connects from their phone and most of the information is in front of everyone's eyes. There is no split screen, all four characters are displayed on one screen, and not like in some other RPG games, this is definitely a plus. It can't be said that this game is the best RPG, it has its pros and cons. But using the phone as a controller, and not a keyboard, mouse or joystick, is certainly a bold move.
This is not a difficult game that will make you relax and have fun both with friends and alone. But I would recommend playing with at least 1 friend (or just two phones, you can have a party member run after the main character).

And now for the sad part, you can consider this a spoiler, but it's better to know about it in advance than after the fact, since it personally upset me. THIS GAME HAS NO ENDING! (But there are several types of arenas that can be played after the main story.) Remembering how we played, getting closer and closer to the secrets of the Eon Altar, how interesting it was how it all ended, and when we entered into battle with the antagonist and it seemed the end had already come, but the antagonist runs away without leaving us answers ...
Unfortunately, the company developing the game had circumstances that forced the project to remain unfinished.

Some phones can no longer download the application via Google Play, which is a controller and cannot be played without, but the application and cache can be downloaded separately and everything works fine.

Do I recommend playing this game - DEFINITELY YES! It's sad that the game is not finished, but the game is unique in its kind and gave us many hours of joy and fun.

An excellent game, though a little short (passed in 3 hours) and after passing, unfortunately there is no additional content. The game has a lot of interesting albeit simple puzzles, there are a variety of monsters and weapons. I really enjoyed the game, but I might be a bit preconceived as I'm a fan of PS1 era Resident Evil games. There are also several stairs to nowhere in the spirit of Silent Hill, along which the character descends for a long time to the background music.

MUSIC - I really liked this music, buying the game did not expect this! I even listened to it a little apart from the game, it reminded me of the soundtracks for SH and RE.
If you are looking for a fixed camera game like PS1 era Resident Evil with better graphics, then this game is definitely for you!
P.S. The only recommendation, if you play with a joystick, then use not a stick, but a D-pad, so that the control is canonical for this series of games, well, it’s convenient for anyone, of course :)

Very good survival horror. At first it seems insanely difficult, especially on hard mode. You think it's impossible to reach the end. But after playing for a few hours, the game becomes very easy and you no longer understand how characters used to die on locations. :)You control 3 polar explorers, but there is a cooperative mode where, as I understand it, everyone can control 1 character, but unfortunately I did not play cooperative.There are a lot of random events in the game, but in general it is monotonous, you don’t play it all the time (just my opinion). But after beating the game, having received all the achievements, I was repeatedly drawn to return for a couple of hours to play it again.Great game!

Now this game is not for everyone. But for 2012 it was a masterpiece! And, of course, it is impossible to forget the cheerful imp of the Darkling.

I had a funny story related to this game. I bought my first laptop and forgot that the old mouse had a ps/2 connector and didn't fit the laptop, so I started playing this game on the touchpad. I got to that stage of the game where in order to go further, the game asks me to press the middle mouse button. But I don't have a middle mouse button :) How many games do you know where you constantly need to click on the scroll for the main action? I don't know them :) I had to wait for the mouse, because at that moment I could not emulate the middle mouse button.
Great game, will forever remain in my memory.
