9/10 | Oddly Charming | Chaotic Fun | Addicting!

Brotato is nothing but an absolute ton of fun. If you like games where you're consistently unlocking new characters/challenges/achievements & much more. This is for you.

You simply play as a bro-tato...cool as heck, I know. Who simply tries to survive waves of various monsters until you reach wave 20 to fight a boss. Between each wave you can buy new weapons, upgrades & passive items to help OR to worsen your runs as well as PETS as per the most recent update which has been INCREDIBLE.

Each wave gets progressively tougher and every run is different to the previous because there is no set pattern as to what happens each run as far as I'm aware. All unlocks are permanent but you will have to rebuy items/weapons & gear your character of choice differently every single time you die and go into another attempt.

It's simplistic, incredibly fun & just built for an easy time sink because you're just having a great time overall. + It's literally £4 at FULL price...where can you go wrong with a game that's going to literally give you 10's of hours.

Most definitely recommend. Pick this up. Gift it to a friend. Go have fun, just give it an attempt and I promise you won't regret it. <3

INFO: If you CAN'T access the DLC masks upon opening the game (if you pre-ordered this like myself: Read Below)

Go to Steam > Reanimal > Right click > Properties > DLC > Open the mask page (this page) > Open the game > Masks should appear.

NO idea why I didn't have the pre-ordered masks for the 6x hours of playing this game but now I do.

Hope that helps anyone wondering why their pre-order bonus didn't apply to their accounts.

Otherwise: Foxhead and Muttonhead Masks, Yes. Many wow. Such coolness.

9.5/10 | Incredibly Twisted | Dark & Mysterious | Absolute Cinema.

This game was absolutely incredible. I loved every second of this and am already planning a replay to try and 100% this with a friend. ~ I co-streamed this from start to finish without any breaks and this took me around 5.5 hours to be precise. I looked around most corners & tried to find as many secrets as possible so you can definitely complete this in a shorter time frame (4-4.5 hours) I'd say but personally this was worth every £ to me especially considering we're also getting 3x DLC's in the future AND this game technically does have replay value (if you're a completionist!)

PHENOMENAL horrific designs & "bosses/main antagonists" as well as an excellent eerie world setting in every single aspect. Especially towards the ending...it really ramped up in every way possible.

I don't personally understand the negatives/complaints about it being "too short" OR the "price tag is too high" - The game has been advertised for a couple of years. It has DLC already set for the future & plenty of enjoyable moments within the 4-5 hours of gameplay already. Not to mention next to zero bugs/performance issues on a day 1 release game (which is rare these days for releases)

Not to mention the fact they offer a Friends Pass....its basically an option to gift a friend the game for free. Just pay 50/50 together and you've got 2x copies. I don't see how that could be a negative at all?!

I write reviews because I genuinely want to share my opinions & takes on a game that and this was one I'd absolutely recommend. If you can't afford it OR will enjoy the game and THEN whinge about the price....then wait for a sale and enjoy the millions of content creators providing free content for the time being.

Congratulations Tarsier Studios & THQ Nordic & Amplifier Studios for publishing. Outstanding game.

8.5/10 | Charming | Adorable | Incredibly Intriguing!

Gloomveil Demo is nothing but a short wonderful experience that I employ anyone who reads this to just install the demo and give it a shot. I knew nothing about this before playing the short experience I had and that was a decision I'd make all over again. - Don't research or look into the game if you like adventure, figuring things out by yourself & wanting to have the most unexpected but incredible experiences.

Oh did I mention the music is composed BEAUTIFULLY?! It's SOOOOOOO good!

This game demo is SO promising ahead for a full release in the future and I genuinely cannot wait to play more. I just need it to be longer and to have more exploration involvement in the demo and this would be a 10/10, easily...

6.5/10 | Hilarious w/Friends | Frustratingly Painful | Great Pricing!

Boat Together is an extremely ridiculous, silly & fun game all at once. The main point of this game is buying it with a group of friends and try to have some fun together which it WILL automatically provide by entering the game and being able to breakdance. 10/10. - The boating mechanics offer nothing but frustration but also tears from laughing so hard. I played this with 7 other individuals and we experienced easily a good 2.5-3 hours of enjoyment before it became a little too reptitive and difficult the further we progressed which in my honest opinion is absolutely worth the price when it's basically just the cost of a coffee.

If you're able to grab this game with a few friends OR enjoy somewhat difficult challenges solo and want to reach the end of the "course" then absolutely pick this game up. It's going to guarantee you some laughs for a while and most definitely for the price it is, it's worth it.

100% Recommend this. Worth every penny I spent.

6/10 | Cute | Cozy | Wholesome experience but short.

This game was incredibly cute and adorable! Great for a short little YouTube video OR experience in your downtime. You play as a penguin who is simply looking for your colony of other penguins after an avalanche event.

It was genuinely quite enjoyable to play HOWEVER there is no guidance or really any concept other than the above. It's just very simplistic. A bit too simplistic perhaps? The music was absolutely gorgeous too, cannot complain in the slightest there. I do think if the developers had added achievements that'd increase the overall rating for me slightly & perhaps a few more levels/side quests or something.

There's always room for improvement so who knows! Maybe they've got more to come in the near future. As for now, I'd recommend this BUT please be warned it is VERY short. Devs, if you do read this, you've done a great job but please consider adding more. I NEED more of this cute game.

6/10 | Intriguing | Comedic | Unique.

Mole Maiden is a 2D based game to which you attempt to become the Burrow League Champion! You'll fight your way through various enemies/boss battles & much more in this bizarre yet incredibly well done Indie game. I'm not entirely certain how many developers created this but I believe it to be a small team. Whilst I only played one hour of this game, it felt fluent, intriguing, enjoyable from start to finish of my experience and had me laughing on multiple occasions at the odd & silly humour in all the best ways possible. I absolutely yearn for some comedy in games time to time and this has exactly that. They did an excellent job. I definitely would like to check this out in the future and play through the entire game when I have more time. - Grab the demo, check it for yourself. It's different but in good ways, especially if you love indie games and trying something new!

7/10 | Chaotic Fun / Excellent Animation!

Katanaut is a game I was very kindly gifted by the developers - Despite the kindness of that I wasn't paid nor asked to promote/review this game positively. I do this of my own choice.

I genuinely do recommend this game. It's very much similar to Dead Cells / Blasphemous (Minus the difficulty) / Neon Abyss! This was a fun journey for the short period of time I got to experience. I very much intend on returning to this once I get through some other titles in my "to do list." The animations, designs, graphics & music and atmosphere felt excellent. I encountered a very small bug but nothing major upon release which is a great thing as most games are broken these days upon release!

The developer is extremely active on socials & very respondent to feedback afaik. He cares a lot about this game and I really do wish him all the best. [As far as I'm aware it's solo-developed].

9/10 | Unexpected | Bizarre | Passionate Enthusiasm!

The Lacerator may honestly be one of my favourite indie horror games in recent years. This game took me MASSIVELY by surprise with the silly adult humour & charm it adds with the theme style of the game. I've never laughed so much whilst also being terrified to open every single door... :^)

This game creates an excellent and wonderful experience for anyone who enjoys indie horror games with that retro oldschool theme to it. Think of a VHS tape then turn it into a game with silly adult 80's humour. This is it. You can LOSE limbs of your body which change the outcome of the way you have to play the game/continue from your current position and that to me is just freaking AWESOME. It's so genuinely unique. The multiple ending's definitely leaves replayability & the game itself just provides pure joy and adrenaline rush at the same time to any horror fan.

Not only is this game high on my recommendation but it's crafted and created with such passion and intent on creating fun for the player. It's developed by a single developer with a few other additional supports for different segments that make The Lacerator. + Dio the social manager is great, hi Dio!

Huge thanks for this game, developers! & if you want to experience any videos there's some content on my YT [SlothsHere]

7.5/10 | Visually impeccable | Great potential | Excellent concept!

After just playing through the demo I've definitely left the game wanting to experience more HOWEVER I am slightly concerned for the future and hoping the developers listen to some of the genuine feedback from our demo-experiences.

Whilst I absolutely LOVE the concept and future of this game and it already being an instant must buy in 2026 I would love to see some changes: The enemies feel too spongy/tanky and like someone else pointed out it feels VERY much like another game: "My Friendly Neighbourhood." & to me personally that isn't a good thing. I wasn't expecting the most top tier shooter of all time but if we're having to shoot the same enemy 6-8 more times despite already shooting the head off...it just feels anti-climatic.

I think some things that are needed to be re-looked into is definitely that "spongey-feeling" when fighting enemies. + I have NO idea what the point of our knife was because that felt completely pointless to me personally.

I do have really high hopes for this game and hope the developers listen overall. I'm not complaining for the sake of it, I'm merely writing constructive feedback.

Ultimately though? Going to leave a positive review because minus those few "issues" the game feels, looks and has AMAZING potential. Very, very hopeful for this!!!
