playing MTG with people who have been in the game for like 20 years is so insufferable sometimes, every turn they're like "I play Storm Crow" and everyone else at the table nods and goes "ah yes of course, the Storm Crow, classic" and doesn't explain.

so I'm like okay. what does that do. and they go "well it has the Flying keyword" and I'm like okay great what the ♥♥♥♥ is a Flying Keyword™

and then after like 10 minutes of trying to get them to explain, eventually I figure out (on my own [i'm so smart! teehee]) that there was a card called Flight that was printed in 1993, and its text was "Enchanted creature has flying (It can't be blocked except by creatures with flying and/or reach)" and this card got so popular in Standard at the time that now all creatures that can't be blocked except by other flying creatures and/or creatures with reach are called "Flyers" by the players
