Well I finally logged back into steam. Some Chinese hacker in Qingdao tried to get into my profile and I had to reset my password. Figured I’d log on for old times sake and got hit with a wave of nostalgia. Names I haven’t seen in years. Old cringe comment threads that haven’t been touched in the better part of a decade. The last time I played on PC was around my 17th birthday. I’m 22 now. I’ve graduated high school, took a gap year, got lost in the pandemic, and now just travel as much as possible. Alaska, Utah, the Florida Keys, anywhere I can get to. Still mentally recovering from some bad stuff that happened in 2016, but I’m getting there. I never really got back into PC gaming due to monetary limits and other priorities, but I’ve played PS4 as of the past few years and recently got a PSVR so I’m still up to date on stuff. But still I feel like I’ve missed so much. I don’t even know who’s online or who will see this, I think Bab might still be around…who knows what Mo goes by these days. Haven’t spoke to Russian in years, I hope he’s doing good too. Everyone I used to game with filled a very empty hole in my life in a pivotal time. I had no real friends and it was the ppl I killed zombies with that I built a connection to, because some of y’all were very important people to me. LadySarah designed group stuff that hangs on my wall to this day. I remember a time where I went to Rawrica for algebra…that tells you how long it’s been. There’s always gonna be a special place in my heart for you guys. To the ones I’ve lost contact with, the ones I played a few games with and never spoke to again, even the randoms I’d shoot in the head: thank you. I’ve got great memories from an otherwise dreary time because of y’all. Just had to get that out there. I’m gonna get a new PC in the future, I’m not sure when but it’ll happen eventually. Y’all just gonna have to wait :)
