The additional buttons on the individual train screens are great. However, there should be a button to replace/update the train. Now you can only update the trains by going through the "line" window which doesn't make sense.

I spent a lot of time on the new beta, everthing works fine with my system (windows 7), thanks a lot.

savegames from previous beta cannot be loaded with the new version. When building a level crossing, make sure that there isn't a node in the way. Easiest is to delete the road where you want to have the crossing, build it again in one stretch and than cross it with tracks.

A new bug discovered. When trying to open a previous gameplay (from the older beta version. It would not open. Also I have quite a bit of difficulty building level crossing. In the previous version this was not a problem.

Doors open on both sides when trains are at stations. No big deal, but someone is going to get hurt stepping out of the wrong side!

Also im Moment bin ich etwas verwirrt... Da tauchen weitere Reviews zu Train Fever auf der Shop-Seite zum Spiel von Beta-Testern auf, obwohl das doch eindeutig gegen die NDA verstößt. Oder habe ich da was nicht mitbekommen?

Many thanks to the devs for giving the Beta Testers free copies of the game once released! I'll get round to playing it again if it works.

Okay, I can now run the game, but random crashes makes it still impossible to play.
There is no error or what so ever when the game crashes, it just stops running and stopping it from taskmgr is required to stop the process.

make sure if you have newest graphic drivers, if your game stopped working. This fixed for me.

Another bug I found was when selected the good depot (not a train based one) the pictures where wrong... Also as a little request. Can we have a train station with a in built good shed?

i think the PC must be much better as told by the trainfever-team.
I tried on several PC ... but only on a PC with a "new" CPU (intel core i5) the game is running as it should ....

I honestly cannot play the game. The crashes make it impossible, and the random lag spikes when paying maintenance (which honestly is too much to even get a small profit) help contribute to these crashes.

Until now I was not able to play the game.
The first two or three days the game started, and I was able to start a new game.
When the loading was done, the game became black, and slowly turned white. After some setting changes I was able to see some landscape of the game, but the game stopped running every try (no errors, reports or what so ever. I needed to use taskmgr to stop the process.)
Now I am not even able to start the game, I can only see the black Command screen.
I really hope that I can play the game at a later point.

Funktioniert bei mir wunderbar. rechner muss allerdings schon ein wenig besser sein ;-)
- Bahnhöfe müssen erweiterbar werden, so wie Strassen
- Spiel hakt beim Autosave ....
- Verfügbarkeit der Loks / Anhänger muss länger sein ...
- bei den Zügen öffnen sich im Bahnhof alle Türen, auch die der dem Bahnsteg abgewandten Seite
- Busse fahren (ausserorts) nicht auf der Busspur
- Große Kreuzungen brauchen Ampeln (oder Fußgängerbrücken/Unterführungen)
- Bushaltestellen sind bei große Straßen mitten auf der Straße
- Wenn Züge aus dem Depot fahren gucken hinten alle Anhänger raus ... die Türen der Depots bleiben zu.
- Fußgänger genhen mitten durch die Bushaltestellen
- das Problem der Erdbewegung bei Bauen/Abreißen wurde schon angesprochen


Bin jetzt 2050 .. soweit sonst alles super! warte auf den ICE ;-)
Wenn man die ersten 50 Jahre konsequent NUR ZÜGE einsetzt geht es !

I managed to get a track from one town to another but to line up the track to a station was impossible. The other annoying thing is if you place a station on slightly uneven terrain the station sinks or rises above the ground which makes it virtually impossible to put a track onto it. Del eting the station leaves a big mound or an indent in the ground. Surely there is a way to stop this happening because it's a bit of a game breaker for me.

I am having alot of problems ,like richardaandre, laying tracks. I spend hours yesterday trying to get a track from one town to another and failed miserably. It was collision this or to much slope etc. Deleting a section of track leaves the terrain in either a raised or sunken state. I wish it could revert to it's original state because after editing the track in one place a few times makes it look ugly.

Train Fever failed to start (error code 81). Someone any idea?

Also, the zoom in/out crashes are becoming really annoying for me. I can't even make a new line without a crash.

I realize that Steam will update the game but is there a place to post the current build number for everybody to find?

Just thought of a 3rd thing. The Spanish Carriages (1850 carriages at the start of the game) say they hold 22 people. But somewhere else it says can only hold 8 people!

Two things I have noticed.

1. You cannot delete saved gameplays
2. Also when I installed signals it stopped the trains from running (as they should if path is blocked). When I manually cleared one of them the other train didn't move.

I'm getting lag on zoom in/outs as well, however the engine seems to cope much better when moving across the map at the same height/angle.

The biggest issue in game I'm facing is signals - with no hints for sure of where to build them, I've guessed and (seemingly) got it wrong - having trains bottlenecking against one another with no option but to send one to depot which, curiously, just turns it around without a turning loop (the latter is just a little niggle of mine).

yep, same issue with tracks. confused that when entering a bridge i cannot get down from it. but it automaticly creates tunnels and bridges very nicely.

Is anyone else having trouble laying tracks? I just can't get things to line up. Slope is too steep, or ends on bridge. I can't seem to get the stations to be at the same elevation as the tracks so they don't connect. And I can't slope tracks up or down.

I can't tell where the station catchment area is so I can't figure out if they are close enough to the industries to serve them.

Today the bulldozing tool would not work. I couldn't remove a tunnel/track section that I wanted to change.

Game could use a rotating arrow somewhere. The mouse rotation doesn't seem to move very smoothly some times.

Huge amounts of lag when zooming out, which is quite annoying when trying to build a line from one town to another

I've experianced my first crash just now. I set up a new train line, set off the train then it crashed. I do have a slightly old PC, so that is probably the explanation.

Also, when paying the monthly fees, the game freezes for a second. Alpha is alpha.

I played a lot of transport tycoon so I compare a little. What I really like here is the way you build tracks and streets. It is challenging and it is fun. What I miss is an option to level the terrain like in TT. Train fever seems to be very difficult and I don't understand why hardly any industries produce goods.

When I have 5 buses and want them to go on the same line, do I really have to click on every single bus and say what line it should go? It would be great to make common orders like in TT.

How do I handle the windows? Sometimes you just have too many windows open and want to close them all. Is there a shortcut?

I fianally cracked the problem. My issue was with my anti virus which was stopping some files from being downloaded. after a bit of configering I was able to get the game started. One game question "How do you get rid of the green route indication on the roads after you have made a route.

the beta leaves very little room for experimenting. The earnings are very hard to get on easy.

I tried running a game with just passengers. Can barely manage the maintenance and can just see many new trains coming up but cannot afford them since im still waiting to earn enough for a train using buses.

Or another game of goods transport. One train started to transport but still maintenance takes the cash and my house and shirt.
