hey im new to tf2 im trying to get into competitive how would one start? ps. been a console gamer till now not used too computer fancy but still decent at the game

For some reason whenever I try adding the mumble server it doesn't give me the option to connect. I copy pasta'd straight from IRC. Anyone else having this issue?

My connection to the IRC keeps failing. Does anyone know if that's local or server side? Also if it is a local issue how do I fix it?

I'm new to the group. What's the average skill level around here? I'm playing in UGC Steel this season, but my DM is likely somewhere around the Gold - Silver area.
