Thanks for reporting, I've went though the post and removed all dead links. It did say redirecting for me, but did nothing. The whole host/site appears to be down, I think what you seen was a result of your own browser and/or plugins. I would not be concerned.

Do not access the URL "www[dot]ai-blog[dot]net" posted in the "Resources - read first" thread.

The link redirects to a fake Microsoft site that displays a fake warning message like
"Your computer is at risk."
When I opened the fake site, Google Chrome stopped responding, CPU usage skyrocketed, and memory usage rose to nearly 100%.
I ended up having to force quit Google Chrome using Task Manager.

You will get kicked by sv_pure if you change valve scripts. I recommend copying the file and loading your edited copy instead

https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Navigation_Meshes#Adding_and_removing_connections_between_areas Everything from this article can be applied for TF2, except for attrubites like "nav_no_jump", "nav_jump", "nav_walk", etc.. Since TF2 bots don't use them at all, or if they have support for them they'll behave very glitchy. They can navigate around the navmesh without help of attributes.

Hi, I came to this group because I am trying to edit a navmesh on tf2. It's for cp_degrootkeep. I am inexperienced in editing navmesh and seek to get better. I need to create a connection between a ledge and the ground below where bots can jump down, but not back up. How would I do that.

Yeah, they either broke weapon pool division in botprofiles or the Defuser isn't recognized at all now, since bots don't even try to buy it.

again the 'Resources - read first' post shows some good pictures of doing ladder with multiple levels.. New nuke def needed a better NAV before being put in a bot mission :UnhappyMask:

For that ladder, I would suggest spacing the nav blocks out a bit from the ladder and applying nav_no_jump. Just to stop the bots getting stuck (damn wildfire mission was REALLY hard for that)

valves map makers do their own nav meshs too.. D2 and others are really old edits. I my self would make sure they used ramp instead of trying to jump up on that box every time..
