You can play missions from the moonlight mvm events in the potato.tf archive servers. And yes, they have archive servers for the april fools ones as well.

i heard the group is disbanded, is this true? if so, does anyone anywhere have the population files for the 2023 april fools event maps? i really want to play those missions again with some friends

No, you cannot. Old badges = old events. But you can get the same model of the old badge but with a new description from a new event.

Go back to potato, moonlight has always been, and will always be, trash. Even potatoMVM allows gas passer. Suck on it moonlight admins, we're boycotting your garbage. Moonlight made from tacobots, falls flat on their face just as the tacobot group did. Thats why they hide in PotatoTF's SUNLIGHT.

We all know this was a free event, and we do thank all those involved who's effort gave us more playtime in the waning interest that is MvM.

Look at that donation goal; it got SMASHED. Why the ♥♥♥♥ are you not advertising for server donations so that this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does'nt happen again?

There is a plethora of things that could've been done as far as communications / adverts. No excuse here. Do better or disappear, because we want to enjoy an overlooked game mode, not get frustrated at your lack of control for your own event.

Same boat here. I read about it a few weeks ago and then checked back last week and saw it ends on the 30th. Thought I'd still have enough time, but apparently not, lol.
I honestly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ miss Madness. Madness, which was back then hosted by potato, was great. It ran for months and months and we had close to 100 missions to do, on like 2 dozen maps. None of the potato/moonlight tours have come close since, in sheer variety and longevity. We usually get like 3-4 maps now, with 6 or so missions and they're usually all scaled towards higher-skilled players. Aka you can't really chill out and run whatever or not worry about "those people". You could just play chill INT or even some ADV missions and it was a great experience.

And of course there was no chance to get the info about the changed date from the actual announcement post since it was instead full of whining crybabies that complain about cheaters in a 17 years old game and refuse to play on community servers because whaaa whaaa whaaaaaaaa

What a disaster with the falsely communicated dates. I didn't manage to finish and surely there'll be some people who won't be able to play at all as they are only coming in now to find the event that was supposed to end on June 30th is already over

Why was the event advertised for June 30th both on the official TF2 site and on Steam, but apparently ended June 17th? This doesn't make any sense.

Tour end was June 30th but ended 17, I had 1 int and 2 adv left to complete to get medals, I'm so pissed right now
