With the amazing craftbukkit dev team's latest commits and Notch's much needed patching of Minecraft the combination of both lead to the stable release for 1.6x.

Hey you lovely minecrafters, since craftbukkit for 1.6 looks a little ways out, I'm going to give you guys some guides that'll allow you play on the server.

http://goo.gl/kg1HJ - MCNostalgia v1.0.2 Read the instructions in the post and downgrade to 1.5_1 if you have any issues, just read through again and pop a question in that thread.

http://goo.gl/9ef7Q - Downgrade tool from 68x based off MCNostalgia so just use this if MCNostalgia doesn't do the trick for you once again read the instructions in the thread and downgrade to 1.5_1 - Another note about this tool its simpler than the MCNostalgia, but it has more bugs so best of luck to you.

Also another note: About the contest I haven't forgotten about it. Because of the delay of craftbukkit from Notch's update we're going to be waiting till craftbukkit is up to date and is overall stable.

Hey ya'll, over at the Steam Server we're wanting to do some exciting competitions and other fun stuff, but we need your help! We're wondering what's your suggestion/recommendation. . . This suggestion is for the contest itself and its prizes. If you have any ideas or suggestions post it here or send me a message on Steam.

Once its been decided which suggestion of competition and prizes are the best, we'll host the event, and have the prizes out!

-Basic price guidelines:
*Please keep prize suggestion reasonable within $120 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
*Same applies for event; the $120 cap is for both.

-About event requirements
The event must pertain to a reasonable competition, and here are some basic rules.
*If PvP, the event must be set within a 2 hour time limit with guidelines on each player and how score will be kept.
*If Building, the event must be set in grids no larger than 32x32 and within a time limit of 4 hours - Materials WILL be spawned solely for this occasion.
*If anything else please make it sensible.

Steam Server and Minecraft 1.5

Hey ya'll thank you very much for this wonderful community, and server we play on. Just wanted to say that since Craftbukkit has not been updated to 1.5 due to issues with the recent minecraft update and Craftbukkit. Also to play on the server, you'll need to downgrade your minecraft client which is fairly simple, just find an old .jar and replace the current one with it. Finding it I'll leave to you.

Hopefully Notch + Craftbukkit guys will each patch their seperate things allowing the server to be fully up-todate soon again.

Oh forgot if you want to test your downgrade use the standard IP
