Since my TF2 is experiencing region issues (D:), im gonna have to temporarily withdraw myself from the scrim team, until i find a new copy of tf2. So can someone sub for me on the team?

@Marxman/ErectDispenser You can just use "Garena" its got TF2 + L4D + CSS + many other games and all work (Similar enough to Hamachi)

I hate the fact that i'm in the UK with servers around 20ms ping and can't play any TF2/L4D/HL2:DM '_'

nvm, hamachi doesnt work with tf2. I got the class C error. I think we cvan fix this if we somehow regulkate the first three octets in people's hamachi IPs.

Rather late, but the emptiness of the :MIB: hamacvhi network saddens me :(

It DOES work with valve games, I've played on CSS. not sure about hl2 (we have our own server anyway) and it would be usefull for tf2 or l4d.


Also, i snapped my pinky and the medics stuck a metal rod into it, so i dont know how long itlkl be before i can play.

Marxman, that doesnt work for any valve games (Source or GoldSrc), they check for Class C addresses, Hamachi uses Class B.

Cbb to post in announcements, but heres a way to play together in games that we don't have servers for:

1) Download hamachi ( www.hamachi.cc)

2) Install it (choose to have the 30 day trial, it reverts to normal once its over)

3) Set up your account, which is just username/'password

4) Click on the networking icon on the bottom, and select join new network.

5) Our network is :MIB: and the password is meninblu

6) For game hosts: just start a LAN game. For clients: right click the host's name in hamachi, and copy address. Go to join game, and paste the IP.

You are now essentially playing a LAN game, over the internet!

@()_ºº_() mcneebs (haha spycrab :D): we dont actually organize scrim matches in this group. not enough people to make it worth the effort. search around though, im pretty sure a few of my groups do organize a few...
