This group is for Australian and New Zealand players who wish to partake in the skill-based matchmaking of Counter-Strike:Global Offensive in a relaxed environment, while also with the added benefit of reduced queue times through lobby groups.

We welcome friendly players of all skill levels, including new players. To participate in the group, add members of this group as Steam friends (I recommend using the Tagging Feature[www.ghacks.net]) who are online playing Counter-Strike:Global Offensive, using the members tab above. Once you are steam friends with members from the group, join one of their lobbies or create your own by inviting them at that time and in the future.

We also encourage players to be considerate of people's varying skill levels and experience when playing with them, and not to partake in verbal/text abuse of team-mates or the other team.

FaceIT (https://www.faceit.com/home) is a good matchmaking alternative and is very easy to get into, and you get a better sense of community (compared to matchmaking, it has chat at least), which now has Australian servers. Good, 128 tick servers with extra anti-cheat, matchmaking, and tournaments.

If desired, use the team tag (goMM.) to find others in FaceIT or otherwise, and to advertise you're from this group. To use the team tag, in game go to "Help and Options" -> "Game Options" -> "Team Tag (goMM.)".

ESEA and Unity are also options in Australia now, but I think FaceIT has a good balance of accessibility, free-ness and community.

Since Leetway went down, we haven't got a designated 10-man place. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to make a discussion about it.
