L4D Rocket Launcher?

I'm confused. I was looking up hints for l4d and I saw something about a rocket launcher in l4d. It said that if you beat the game on any difficulty you would unlock a rocket launcher. My friend Captain Maim said that he beat the game multiple times and he didn't unlock a rocket launcher. If someone is an expert about this, please goto group chat and invite me there to discuss this.

Attention everyone! I am leaving the group so I will not be the owner anymore. Captain Maim I think will be the new owner. The reason I am leaving is because I don't really use this group alot and I want to create a newer group soon.
