I removed the dependency on installing the VC redist, but there's a chance I broke that so if someone can let me know that it works fine for them that would be great, thanks!

Released a tiny potentially-final update to version 1.0 since I'm unlikely to touch the item manager ever again, so I just made a small change where it'll work even if my website goes down (which it was previously doing a lot of) and requires fewer files now.

My site droplet kept going down every few weeks, so I'm in the process of rebuilding it, should be up in a little while.

Hello! I used it before, but now, after I reinstalled it wont start. error: 'Failed to create font from file: ../fonts/tf2build.ttf' I tried deleting the whole folder but nothing. How could I fix this? Thx

well update as of 22/1/2022 it works just fine without the additional upgrades twas said was going to be made.

Does anyone know if the sort option was put in? And are the only options craft and delete right now?

Worked smoothly for me, 5/2021, although the MSVC link on the website needs to be updated. The page for it is now gone but all you have to do is a quick google search for the new page.

Can this be used to craft killstreak kits?

Cool program, makes life infinitely easier. As of 19/12/2019 it still works very nicely.

For anyone having issues with the software stuck on loading on first startup, let it do its thing for a couple minutes, then try restarting. It may take a few tries but at some point it will work and download all the stuff it needs. Then you're good to go.

Also check if the Steam servers have any issues at steamstat.us before giving up on this program. It happens quite regularly for Steam API or the servers necessary for the backpacks to be down.

JIM works again

Yeah, it may be down until I figure out where the new API is. My API key is fine, but the query it used to use just returns an empty "{}" now, so I think they may be in the process of switching over to a new one.

It's a VERY useful program, it's the first time it doesn't work for me but I thought it was because of the update so I came here to check.

JIM didn't work after Scream Fortress X update.

I can't even use the manager anymore, same error before the original fix a couple of months back.

Should be all good next time you launch, I goofed slightly and fixed.

Having a problem where the manager doesn't update items if they are crafted/traded/ new items in inventory unless I exit and restart again. I haven't use JIM for a while since the updates so not sure if this should be happening or an issue my end?

I think I may have accidentally uploaded a version of the item manager that doesn't auto-update, but yeah, if you redownload it now it should be fine.

Yeah, it should all be back to normal now. @MaRsun: the old version required the "MSVC++ 2010 Redistributable" to be installed; did you do that? The new version doesn't require it, though, so maybe try download it again here: http://www.jengerer.com/item_manager/downloads/item_manager.zip

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Win7x64 here and everything is fine! No white ??, but I don't have any metal currently. Everything as it should be otherwise. Opened, forced to update against my will, hung, closed, opened again and everything loaded and viola, back to to sorting with ease once again. Super cool!

Hmm, maybe try run as administrator? Also, it turns out I was the goof and there did need to be further changes. Item manager should be restored to full functionality (may take a while to load the first time around if there are missing images).

i have a problem, i launch the app, it tells me to update so i click that okay button and... it quits. In the folder i see old files with .old format, and also the new, but not the app. It doesnt create new .exe file. Pls help i have win 7
