To be fair, you have to have a very low IQ to understand Idlemasters. The memes are extremely repetitive, and even without a basic grasp of outdated memes most of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ won't go over a typical lurkers head. There's also Rei's nihilistic outlook, which is ineptly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Final Fantasy XIV kusoge literature, for instance. Senpai doesn't understand this stuff; he lacks the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these memes, to realise that they're not just unfunny- they say something shallow about NOTHING AT ALL. As a consequence people who dislike Idlemasters truly ARE good and smart people- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Impy's existential catchphrases "Please stop posting now", "No really, you are being a bother" and "I will call the police if you speak to me one more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time" which itself is a cryptic reference to Dense and Bro's non-stop rambling about idols.
