no one in their right mind is probably going to read this but if they do, i've got HL2 survivor running, problem is my character keeps spinning. I don't seem to have any controller plugged in or anything like that, just my mouse and keyboard. Tried going to the autoexec configs and such, but no avail. Thanks!

so due to facepunch taking down the thread how would one play Survivor today?

Going over all the dumps, i've noticed there is a mish-mash of dumps. Some claim to be all Japanese, some claim to be in English. Some claim 2.0 and some claim 2.1, some claim 2.1 is a "stand-alone" some claim it's a "mod:"

Does anyone have a "difinitive" edition, that's not buggy, that's correctly modified, that won't take forever to learn the controls? I mean, there's just a bunch of junk everywhere. I've seen the download on the top but i don't think it includes the 2.1

cant open the game, it just keeps giving me errors. saying it cant find a material, which when i check the folder the material is in its there

I managed to install this from another page which included the same steps as the closed Facepunch one.
However, the video files ingame does not show, i can hear them but i cant see them.

my steam turned back to english

i dont know it wont launch also when launched it turned my steam japanese

Why .cfg files are always read-only? And is it possible to host the server and play through default menu?

You can run the game with a "-fullscreen" parameter, but the HUD won't get any bigger than the game's default resolution.

thanks you very much, just for simplicity for everyonelse, you have to create autoexec.cfg file on ...\HL2AC\hl2mp\cfgorg and put in the file sensitivity "X" (its important to put " "or else it will not work) (replace x with you preferred sensitivity between 0 and 5, i think 5 is the max?)

Try to add it it to the bottom autoexec.cfg in the cfgorg folder. If no cfg file exists, create it and add the command.

i also have to put it when i die or a new map loads
