Oh i remember more than my fair share of battles against you GoPer, and enjoyed every one. It was a great server and the community was the best Ive had the pleaseure of playing with. I Really miss it !

It has probably been a good 3 or 4 years since i've last stepped foot in the [GO] servers, but i wanted to go through a nostalgia trip and see what's happening only to find out that the servers have been closed for about 2 years now. The 2fort server and community is responsible for some of the best times i've had gaming. Sure is a shame to see such a great community die, but i guess life is what life is. In case anyone still remembers me here - Thanks for the great times Toast and the lot!

Spawn camping and then getting my anus ravaged by Mortalitas as he quickscopes me, Ah i remember it like yesterday.
The ways Eddie would look att me with a sexuall but still kinda friendly look.
How Toast banned me from the server
I remember the first time i played on the GO server, the gibus i had, the force a nature in my hands.
I wish i could go back to those days and play on the GO server again, please someone fund this server and make those wonderful days come back ~ ^9kniff

Hi Taz - the only way to keep it going is if the community came up with the funds. As it stands the server we use costs a lot of money. We could lose all the support/backend stuff, but just the dedicated game server alone is nearly £1,000.00 a year. If someone wants to keep Mariokart 2 running on a cheap "one off" game server from one of the providers, then I would be more than happy to help them in any way I can with the setup as well as providing all of the tricks, scripts and mods I've learnt over the years - that's a cheaper way of doing it for sure.

I'm upset it is over now =(
But all things must come to an end

I would love to keep GO going...
