Hah I join because its has full series tutorial for playing ROTP. I never got appreciate MOO1 Original because I' m not from that era. But playing ROTP I'm not getting the same respect all gamers do for MOO1 and MOO2. And thanks for explorminate for showing me more about 4X Game. It was really not my type game but somehow their review/gameplay make me interest to this genre

Strategic podcast was fantastic. The best so far, by far! I don't post often because I prefer waiting until I've got something to say.

Near the end you appologized for the length of the show, but I'm not sure why. You aren't on broadcast and don't have commercials, so there really are no time constraints. So, do it 'til it's done! If you are concerned about listener attention spans, you shouldn't be. Most of us listen using systems that save your place. I listen and if I have to stop I come back later. I think the depth of the conversation warrants the length. If the listener isn't interested in the deep dive they won't listen no matter how short.

Just my opinion. I'd love to know what others think.

Old time 4x player who played most or the classics, Civilization 2, MOM, MOO 1,2&3, HOMM series, AOW 1&2, BOTF, Dominion 3, Gal civ 2, Elemental:WOM, Fallen enchantress, FE:Legendary heroes etc. Took a break in the 2000s (except Elemental) and am now back!

Starting on Planar Conquest now and loving it. When I get bored of it, AOW 3 plus expansions will be on my list. Then maybe some of the space 4x, there are so many!!!

Time to dive back into MOO I was surprised the dlc is just a race pack I figured they'd put some of the other stuff in it to make it sell , very nice surprise from them
