Reintroducing old fashioned ZP!S to the community

In the ZP!S community it is known that (SL) Uncle Fred is carrying out attacks on 'rival' servers. This is why we're extending this sincere Thank You to Janaz Leonheart from Vertigo Gaming. Because without his support, we would not have had HALF the stability we do now. Janaz showing nothing more than true support for the future of ZP!S.

What is Davidian?

Davidian European Gaming was originally found in early 2010, was a single ZP!S server based in the UK which closed later that year. On June 20th 2015 we came back and we ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brought it! Only this time we went back to basics by having a vanilla server. What this means:

- Default/stock maps + Quality custom maps
- Default infection rate (10%)
- No lame plugins (i.e. RPG features, pukefection, cure infection etc)
- No rank feature, so people can play the game how its bloody suppose to be played minus the stat padding.

Since re-opening, we now have two ZP!S and a 7 Days to Die server.

Closing the doors and Rebranding.

This has been waiting to happen for a long time, but shortly after this announcement goes live I will be closing the group page and let KaempeLaeske take over as founder of the servers.

Kaempe will be able to kick start his new community lone-ranger style and I'm sure it will kick ass. You can catch the new community page here: http://testx-steam.c5game.com/groups/PressP2Panic

The switch over shouldn't change much other than a couple of community name replacements so you can expect the same experience as you had originally, pure vanilla ZP!S

This group page will remain closed until I can discover what I want to do next.

Denshin aka Mr.Eklund - For introducing me to Kaempe, this journey would never have begun without you.

KaempeLaeske - Your determination was a breath of fresh air for the ZP!S community, I have no doubt you will sail into 3.0 as #1 vanilla server and #1 server, be sure to smile at Fred when you do :P

Dev team - Your constant updates has injected new life into the community, I can't wait to see updates past 3.0

Janaz Leonhart - What can I say? You picked me and Kaempe up when we were out our lowest of lows. When we almost threw the towel in because of DDoS attacks, you jumped to our aid. You didn't need to, but you did and that's the kind of selfless act that shouldn't go unnoticed.

Admins and community - Just a short thank you for being awesome :)

Snowbound_deg gets updated!

Another, long-awaited, map update has now been brought to snowbound. Thanks to Reborn, we've taken steps to make the map a more balanced for the survivors, as well as making the spawn a little less confusing for inexperienced zombies.

One small, but still significant, change is metal grates replacing the metal hatches on the trams; This allows survivors to shoot through them, without damaging them, and defend from the zombies on top. The tram section is obviously designed with teamwork in mind; Having both trams leave a couple of seconds apart to allow each to cover the roof of eachother. Sadly, this is a bit too hard to carry out in practice, so we've given each tram the chance to defend themselves - Before the zombies are already inside and in your face.

Full changelog:

-Minor balance tweaks to weapons, ammo and z-spawns
-Fixed sound looping
-Made the chopper in the lobby static
-Added some new details
-Updated objectives, added beacons and stuff
-Added 2 new zombie shortcuts in the ice cave (access through 1st & 2nd teleport)
- Potential fix of the surf-skipping exploit

We've also uploaded a fix of Xufe's latest version of tunnelway. Before, it had missing models but Xufe was quick to patch it up again. Much appreciated.
