The Official Company of Heroes: Modern Combat Mod Group

An ambitious total-conversion modification for Relic's award-winning Company of Heroes franchise, CoH: Modern Combat will transport players into the midst of a high-tech war between the modern-day Chinese and U.S. militaries. Incorporating all-new doctrines, units, artwork, and maps, Modern Combat will work in tandem with acclaimed CoH gameplay in order to craft the most comprehensive, immersive and enjoyable representation of strategic 21st-century combat possible on the PC.

Our team has adhered wherever possible to the unique and innovative gameplay mechanics that made CoH the fantastic RTS that it is. Players will need to rely upon a variety of traditional tactics in order to succeed, such as directional cover and weapon teams, doctrinal abilities and combined-arms unit formations, whilst at the same time utilising to full effect the highly-advanced weaponry and equipment employed by the armed forces of today.

Upcoming Round Robin tournaments

Sign-ups for the Round Robin Tournament will soon be open! Depending on the number of players and the activity we will decide how long players have to coordinate their matches. This will give players flexibility to arrange a match throughout the week. We will provide more information about the event with a news post in the upcoming weeks, giving all the details!

There will be sign-ups for both standard and hardcore MC, players can enter whichever they choose (or both).

1vs1 Tournament II announced

I hope everyone is enjoying the summer holidays, and is finally able to have a chance to relax. We have been working hard at the Modern Combat Development team, adding new members and providing new fixes and changes to the structure of our mod for a better game play experience.

After the success of our first tournament, we hope to have now fixed more bug and balance issues. Also with the Olympics currently going on I think it is right to have our own competition! We have also added many new accessories to the units to make battles more unique each time. We would now like to properly test our mod changes with our Second Modern Combat Tournament! Again for all the players that competed in the first one, it gives them a chance to redeem themselves and fight back for that 1st place! Otherwise newcomers are of course welcome, and can compete for the price money and recognition in the CoH: Modern Combat competitive environment!

Lets get ready to rumble! On the weekend of August 18th - August 19th 2012 (countdown) we'll be hosting the second CoH: Modern Combat 1vs1 Tournament. Make sure to read our Tournament Rules, here is a headsup:

Before you decide to sign up, make sure you have a working copy of CoH: Modern Combat installed and can connect to other peoples multiplayer games! In case you are fine, you are required to sign up in our sign up thread. You should make a post with the following information:

Also we are looking for some referees to help with the first day and making sure that everyone is able to connect to their opponents, and to rearrange matches if there are no-shows from certain players. One important note is that you cannot participate in the tournament if you are a referee! Additionally you must have mumble installed and setup with our server.
