My good friend, you have gone from us too soon. To be only in your twenties, with your whole life ahead of you - hopes now dashed by the cruel reality in which we live. No matter the life you led before, it led you to here, where you are now.

Not only will you not be able to pay Chessnut's Corner the homage it deserves, but also we will never be able to truly appreciate your role as a cornerstone of our strong, active community. It is with great bemusement, bewilderment, sadness, shock, anger, ennui, that I must create this announcement.

Chessnut's Corner, I call on you to mourn for our member, moderator, beloved admin, Pope Francis I. You knew him as he was, and know him as who he will become, but never has who could have been.
