Can other users not see the games that I have available for trade ?

@[ThaReP]: You will have to discuss the region locks with the other trader, as the region set on their Barter profile can be different than the trader's Steam account region. ROW usually covers North America, Oceania, Africa, some Middle East (anything that is not LATAM, RU/CIS, SEA, TR).

Where can i check the different regions and when i'm not supposed to trade with someone in another region?

I'm Spanish and i want to trade with other user but he is in the "ROW" region, but no "ROW: EU" like me

Anything you buy should at least be redeemable in the EU. Additionally, it's extremely uncommon for something bought in the EU (outside of Germany) to be region-locked at all. Keys almost never have run locks (can redeem but can't play for ~90d if in wrong region), just activation locks (redeemer will get a "Game not available in your territory" message).

If you get a key that's region-locked, activating it will show "Game not available in your territory". If you receive it from a trade via Barter, attempt to reconcile, and if that doesn't work, open a dispute. It's generally on the trader's end to make sure that region locks are labeled properly on their tradables. Once you are able to successfully redeem something, you should be able to play it no matter where you live.

@YumoS - I haven't seen your offers you've received, but understand that some of these traders are Steam curators that are able to use Curator Connect to get you games that haven't been released on the store yet. As far as being offered AAA games, I admit I don't know where the traders are often getting these games, but I've received several in trades over the past year with no issues. Of all the hundreds of games I've received, only one was "revoked" by the publisher because I was accidentally given an alpha key, and the alpha phase had ended for the game. It was promptly rectified by the trader, though.

Anyway, if the trader has a good reputation on SteamTrades, you can feel better about trading with them. Don't be afraid to ask what the key's source is if it isn't already clear. Some of them buy unbundled games on deep sales and trade them for other games, but again, that's an aspect that's still vague to me.

i just joined barter.vg and got many suspicious offers from high profiles with only positive reviews. someone offered me a game that has not been released yet and someone offers me triple a games like assassins creed origins, fallout 4, prey, mk 11, dishonored 2. are they trying to scam me because i am new and my rating could be seen as fake?

This website is such a great idea, I was a bit afraid to trade at first, but with the rating system it makes it secure. Trustworthy community. Many thanks to the creators, I got some games I could not have afforded without this!

My account keeps getting set on "unavailable" because people send me offers with a LOW hour rating on it.
I have this thing called a life and work, how do I block people from sending me trades that last less than 48 hour?!

I changed the location of 'bug' from the pulldown menu to the offer page. There was confusion that selecting that reason would result in filling out a bug report.

There are not translations of the decline reasons. The translations are several years old now. That has been something I'd like to update, but the original translation was done manually using Google Sheets and was quite slow to add.

Although it does seem like an accusation, it's a bug report. If the offer disregard preferences, there is something broken with the offer system or the effects of the preferences are explained correctly. Although, it would be difficult to diagnosis the problem if the disregarded preferences reason was due to an unshared one rather than one set on the profile.

Yes, goplayer7 discovered a bug that was counting cancelled and discarded offers.

How did that happened? A while ago, cancelled offer status changed in order to show whether the offer was cancelled before or after it was proposed. The offer stats were counting the latter cancelled offers, despite not being visible when viewing offers. I applied the update yesterday and it correctly stopped counting all cancelled and discarded offers.

Hi to everybody. Has something changed in the way offer stats are calculated? I saw that yesterday my "sent offers " ratio changed dramatically although I only had a few offers sent in the last couple of days. ?!

You can delete your account all you want, but you can't come back a few days later and expect that you'll magically have a blank slate.

6353 Juan Tabo, you should be able to remove pending trade tags now. It was a bug.

There were many tags missing collection ids, and therefore the pending tag appeared not to be your tag and therefore no one had the correct permission to remove it. I manually fixed the affected tags, set up an automatic process to fix any new tags with this bug, but I still need to determine the code that causes this to happen.

anyone know how I can get rid of the 'pending trade' tag? the [remove tags] doesn't work, and it just keeps incrementing!
