How's it going?

Due to the death of my video card I have not been able to play any Steam games, however, I did post this in homage to the group. http://runningwithscissors.com/main/index.php?topic=2126 Still going to go write one now about a browser game I have been playing to pass the time though.

Added my newest one, but it was done already. So added it as a comment to someone else's review. Mine is a bit longer, and by a bit, I mean massive wall of text in comparison as per my usual. http://testx-steam.c5game.com/groups/backattk/discussions/1/864980278018847803/

Just wanna remind some people to add [NEW] tag to the titles. Some of them don't allow comments on their profiles, and I feel it's dickish to add them just to say that.

Reviews index needs an update, there's even a [NEW] tag on the fifth page.

It is with apologies that I'm going to have to leave this awesome group. My backlog has beaten me (for now), and I'm just not finding the time to write a decent review. Rather than scribble down a couple of half-arsed efforts just to meet the requirements, I'd prefer to bow out and maybe [if you'll have me back] return once things have quietened down a bit with work and life in general.

This is a truly great group, and over the past few months I've bought a couple of games based on reviews on here. Love you all, backloggers!

Sorry for no recent activity. I have been in a hospital since 2 October, bedridden and unable to use my hands. I was discharged last week but can't move too much and my right arm is completely useless so no gaming for me for a few more weeks at least.

I don't know where to say it, but BMD and Gorky 17 came out on Steam, but they're still in "Others" category in the review index. Requesting someone with mod powers to move them.

I'm leaving for vacation today. I will be semi-online once or twice a day until 30.07, then I'm going to Przystanek Woodstock Music Festival. I should be back around 4th-5th of August.
In the meantime wy GF will be using my Steam and SG a little, so don't bother with her ;p

After i read an article about the evolution of the shot em up games on a retro gaming magazine, i thought to myself: “There isn't a game gender more important on the gaming history than the SHUMPS, and so, today no one really cares about it, except some very niche groups. How a game gender with so many classics, like spacewar! Space invaders, Galaga, R-Type, Gradius was left behind on the technological evolution?” So i planned a Tour De Force, with most of more remarkable SHUMP titles ever made, comprising more than 30 years of gaming history, various consoles and play styles, seeking a depth understanding of the history of this gaming subgender.
