W+M2 is a group that encourages the use of the compression blast and other various Pyro insanity.
One of our goals is to keep you updated on the latest news that ranges from new weapons, hats or gameplay changes and usefull tips and tactics to use ingame.

The group also encourages that people share and help eachother to become even better at burning the other team to ashes.

TF2 Beta update: Reserve Shooter for Pyro and 2 misc slots

The TF2 beta has been updated! the changes are the following:

General:
Synced with all changes and fixes from the official release
Added support for multiple Misc slot items being equipped at the same time
Added support for character loadout presets

Updated the Foster's Facade and Noh Mercy to use the misc slot.
The class select screen now displays currently equipped loadout.
The Reserve Shooter can now be equipped by the Pyro and Soldier.
The Tomislav now reduces the wearer's health by 50.
Metal consumption while using the Widowmaker was reduced to 30 from 60.
The cloak delay when using the Enforcer was increased to 1 second from 0.5 seconds.
The Claidheamh Mòr charge extension is increased to 1 second up from 0.5 seconds.
The Grenade Launcher and Stickybomb Launcher now use the in-game slot notation on the loadout screen.

Now to get back to the pyro again; in this update the Pyro also has acces to the Reserve Shooter.
Which gives the pyro a shotgun that swap 15% faster, mini-crits airborne targets 3 seconds after switch and -50% the clip size.

I can't comment if the weapon swap stacks with the degreaser but the mini crit gives a whole new set of oppertunities. Such as igniting and enemy pushing him away (and thus airborne) and giving him a nice mini-critted shot in teh face.

So will these changes come to the retail version or will the pyro receive a fancy new shotgun? Well I can't wait thats for sure. :D

Guide: How to create and submit footage

So you're eager to help out and support the W+M2 Gas Fueled channel with your own pyro antics, but you don't know how to create and submit your footage.
Well this guide will explain the basics on how to do just that.

- Recording footage trough the console:
When ingame open up the console with ~ and type the following into it: record 01
This will create a .dem file under the name 01 until you leave the server or stop recording.
To stop recording the demo file simply type in "stop" and TF2 will stop recording and save your demo.
If you want to record again simply repeat this process but switch out the name.

- Replaying your demo's
If you just made a good demo and want to watch it back you can by doing the following:
Go out of the server and open up your console and write the following: demoui
This will open up a small menu, press browse and find your demo.
wait for it to load and enjoy watching your successful moment of glory.
Tip: remember the time or tick when your kill or moment happens.

- Finding and uploading your demo's
To find all your recorded demo files head down to the following folder:
C:\Steam\steamapps\username\team fortress 2\tf
Copy your file to your desktop and upload it to your favourite mirror.
Such as Mediafire, Dropbox or Megaupload for example

- Sending in your demo files
This part should be easy simply email us at gasfueled@gmail.com with your demo file.
Or post your footage here in the W+M2 group, either in the comments or at the announcement when we are collecting specific footage.
Don't forget to add your preferred name (nickname for in the video), to describe what happens in the demo file and on which time frame we can find it.

Helpful bits:
- Try to keep the files small, the best way to record everything during your play session it to start and stop a recording when you've died.
- Write your good demo's down! Best is to do this on a piece of paper or skip to a bigger number with the next recording so its easy to find it back.
- File your good demo's in a different folder and remove the unneeded ones to save space.
