Valve Batch Compile Tool

VBCT is a Source Engine Compiler program for popular game mods like TF2, CS:S, HL2DM, DOD:S, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 & beta, Portal 1 & 2, Alien Swarm, HL2, EP1, EP2 and CS:GO (whew).

This tool is a sophisticated front end for doing map compiles without Hammer, about as simple and efficient as it can be. It also provides links to the regular SDK tools including Hammer and the Game itself so VBCT makes a good central management tool for all your mapping needs.

Support for MOD Fistful of Frags should be fully functional now. Added automatic setting of the VProject for a MOD when it is selected. Fixed some minor problems with using custom compile modules, these should all work now as long as they are properly defined in the GameConfig.txt file. VBCT has been fully tested with the VMFII instance insertion tool, please see instructions on the VBCT webpage.

VBCT 1.0uBETA3 is mostly updated and functional now but I'm fussing with:

1. removing the requirement to run as administrator
2. getting custom mods 100% working (may be fixed in part by #1)
3. additional OS testing
4. getting other SDK tools integrated.
5. waiting for Valve to fix broken SDK tools in some of the mods ... (I won't wait to release VBCT updates for this but things won't be 100% until then)
6. do some additional testing to see if VRAD -both (LDR & HDR) is working better now (-both would occasionally crash when it started the second pass). If it is still broken then I'll let the Valve SDK team know as well as see if I can add in a custom 2nd pass that should always work regardless.

I also have some additional work to see if I can get VMPI working again but Valve broke this capability quite a while ago and I don't have high hopes.

One other fun feature that I'm fussing with is to benchmark all of the Valve SDK maps (just the full ones) so folks can compare their compile times against an expected reference.

This happens when you've never run any of the game dev tools, just right-click the [...] button and select CSGO, everything should be set for you. It's ok if Steam not on the C: drive but there might be a glitch if you have the game installed on a drive different from where Steam is installed.

I keep getting this error:
"Warning: VProject is NOT Set!
Please Select a Game: Right-Click [...]"

What to do, i wanna use the program for CSGO.
I have my csgo install on "H://" not normal C: Drive.

Hey man great program! so much better than Valve's
When I want to 'release' my map to the workshop, what compile should I use? (Final or Full)?
Also, when I compile it, the static props are just black, how do I fix that?

Would this tool work for games like Insurgency, and the recently released Day of Infamy? Both are Source games so I figured it'd work but it has some problems finding the GameConfig.txt that I can't seem to straighten out.
I can't stand the idea of compiling maps for either of the games without this tool!
