The best online gaming experiences of my life occurred on the Transcend server. I will never leave this group, it's a part of my past now.

Why cant other people be as good as Tyrsis when it comes to server management and mods, many years since he closed his server and I can still not find one that even comes close to the epicness that was his.

It would be great to play again on those servers, the best servers I ever played.

And even few years pass since then I still remember them like I would play them just few days ago.

SIM is definatly better, but no. I keep looking and whlie there are some interesting servers out there I have yet to find one stable enough to be able to recommend.

My life situation has changed to the point where I am forced to use Satalite Internet as its my only option of internet choises. In Short Satalite internet has 2000 ms ping, and is unusable for anything mutiplayer.

so I coundn't retry mutiplayer even if I wanted too. although I might give single player a try, If someone can tell me if single player perfomance is decent? I do have an i7 8700k, with an GTX 1080 TI, maybe that will aleviate single player performace.

Okay, Patrick, I will check it out; however, where to play MP? I've tried many-a-server and have yet to find any years AFTER Transsend was taken down that comes close to the performance level that Tyrsis was able to maintain.

Yes Tyrsis its time for us to come home...this whole refugee thing and trying to start again in different solar systems isnt working out.

Regardless of others who moved on to other games, I check periodically for the resurgence of Transend with the hope of playing many more hours of SE.

I occassionally to find any other server remotely close... Still has not happened.

Tyrsis, you still have a following of players who hope to see the server rebooted.

You guys do know he recently updated nanties right? Good to know he is still alive. :)
And fairly sure drill mod (or a similar one) has been updated & works. We use it on eclipse.

We do need that drill mod he used to run. Made the game 100% better
