Steam ROM Manager

Hello, my fellow Emulation community!

Steam ROM Manager or SRM for short is a newly devoloped program that does a great job of importing your ROMs into Steam. You just need to set up your gaming emulated systems and ROMs in SRM and once your set up is complete just run the program. SRM will then find all the roms and emulators that you point the program to and put them into Steam as Non-Steam Games.
You will just need to download the exe[github.com] if your a Windows user. The program will install and make a shortcut on your desktop to run it from.
This group is designed to be a support page for Steam users trying to get SRM to work properly but there is also a DISCORD server linked below that can also help you out. This program is in its very early stages but works amazingly well and meets all my emulation needs using Steam as a Frontend for emulation. SRM works great with Big Picture Mode. I used ICE for years so if you have any questions coming from an ICE environment, please feel free to post those as well. Thanks and Enjoy!

Steam ROM Manager 2.2.18 is upon us, Rejoice

SRM has certainly come a long way. This latest release marks a lovely user friendly improvement to the program. This welcome addition is pre-made emulation system configurations. That means when you set up a emulation system to be parsed with Steam all you have to do is select a system from the Configuration presets drop down. After you select your desired gaming preset, just point SRM to all your fancy emulation goodness and save the parser. Then press preview on the top left and generate the app list. After you are done perusing through your luscious library, save app list. As usual, reach out to us on the Discord server if you have any issues or just want to say Hi.

SRM 2.2.0 is Now Available!

The developer for Steam ROM Manager has been hard at work over this last month with bug fixes and feature updates for SRM. Over on our Discord we have been growing the SRM community and taking request to improve the program. If you have anything to contribute please don’t be apprehensive and instead join the SRM conversation with us. With version 2.2.0 there has been a ton of improvements, including the community requested “Portable Version” of SRM. Check it out and enjoy!

To upgrade on Windows, just download with EXE and run it. SRM will auto update the program and preserve all of your settings.

It's been saving my games for the past fourteen hours. Is that normal for adding 3000 games?

I need help about retroarch with steam rom manager.

They recently added the retroarch app to the steam store.

I am trying to configure steam rom manager to load my games with retroarch (which incorporates "remote play") into steam for when my steam deck arrives home to be able to play remote play a tekken 3 apart from showing my friends that I am playing playing and having the rom inside the library as if it were a purchased steam game (very useful since navigating from retroarch is annoying, so being able to search for the rom with the help of SRM incorporating it as one more game inside the library is fabulous) .

But I have a problem when I have configured the whole game does not start when I give it to play from the library (retroarch does not open and nothing happens)

Anyone can help me about this? Thank you

I generated app list via Retroarch Playtest (steam version) but the titles are added as non-steam games regardless.
Sinec Retroarch allows for steam screenshot uploads, playing times etc. Is there a way to have games from it added as separate thumbnails for the Retroarch ?
