There was Tuesday maintenance already that probably messed something up, wait for them to find and fix the problem.

They are no different than the phishing sites that have been around for years on Steam, only difference is they offer "free games" instead of items or gambling and they just change your profile and make you do the work for them by trading items to another account, they cancel it and send a new trade to their bots and ofc spam the entire friends list to get more victims.

If they are friends I don't see much point in deleting them off your friends list, I have had 2 people that ever had fallen to scams (phishing) and only waited for them to regain access to their account.

You can give them a nickname that they have been compromised and change it back at a later time.

Ofc it should make you happy or feel good to help others, but I don't really feel that anymore since I've been helping those on many forums for a little more than 15+ years now, it just comes naturally to me now and then move on to another person/topic if I can help out with something.

I always feel happier when I help someone. I think its a good idea to save the trolling for the ones that fight with you when you are trying to helping them

Someone's gotta record and tell the story of what happened there. It might not seem like it's directly saving lives, but it's a longer-term thing: it means that those who suffered and died didn't do so in vain and won't be forgotten.

In short, it's through the delivery of information that we as a civilization learned to learn from our mistakes.

@Lady of Trades & Blades: I was out there in VI and PR documenting relief efforts. The stuff me and my team covered was picked up by national and international news. I wouldn't say I was saving lives personally but it was all a part of the overall relief efforts out there. Still a lot of work to do out there, a lot of challenges and a lot of people who still need help.
