As part of the LRG3 Showcase, Matt Bozon has confirmed that the 7th Shantae installment is currently in the works. The announcement video features a message from Matt as well as new Artwork of Shantae and Risky Boots with Twintails from the upcoming game.

Hey everyone! I'm Matt Bozon Director of the Shantae Series. On behalf of WayForward and LimitedRunGames and everyone who works on the Shantae Games. Just wanted to say thank you all so much for making the launch of Shantae Advance Risky Revolution a huge success. We couldn't have done it without you, and we're so grateful to have fans, thank you! And today I get to share some very exciting news. And that is, that we are hard at work on a brand new 7th entry in the Shantae series. The Standard Edition is being sold for $24.99 and the Deluxe Edition is going for $34.99. Each edition is discounted at 20% off as an introductory offer until August 26th; The Standard will be $19.99 and the Deluxe is $27.98 until this promotional period is over.
(Important Note: The Deluxe Edition content cannot be purchased separately at a later date. You must purchase it with the game otherwise you'll have to buy the game again sadly)

The Deluxe Edition contains 3 additional costumes. Alongside changing Shantae's appearance, each costume has a respective ability buff as listed below:

Pre-Orders are now live for Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution on Limited Run Games! This run is an open pre-order period that will be available until April 7th 2024; with an expected ship date of January 2025. They're offering a Standard Edition as well as a Collector's Edition. Limited Run Games will be reprinting Shantae and the Pirates Curse as their final 3DS Physical release. This release features different artwork from the former physical run on the 3DS. The standard edition goes for $35 (Cartridge + Case) and the Collectors goes for $65.

WayForward has showcased the reveal trailer for Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution at Indie World 2023. The game is now confirmed for Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, and most importantly Steam! It includes new features such as a 4-Player Battle Mode and Re-arrangable Stages.
