Santa's Unwanted Chrimbo Prezzies ;D

As you all may of notice steam are giving away prizes for free. Which is great if say you don't already own the game, but if like me you have extra copies of games or games you don't want, it's not a waste.

Here's a quick list of the objectives you can complete quickly without having any games.
1 = Look in your inventory (main steam window > view tab > inventory)
2 = Comment on a game (goto any game page and where it says comment type in "umm")
3 = Trade an item from inventory (click anyone in friends/group list "invite to trade")
4 = Join Steams hotliday group page http://testx-steam.c5game.com/games/holidaysalecommunitygroup
5 = Add 10 Items to your wish list (any 10 games will do)
6 = Link steam to your facebook account (remove by going into facebook.com -> profile settings -> security and delete steam)

TEAM FORTRESS 2 which is now free to download and play Join an empty server, preferably one with a short respawn time, go soldier class and blow yourself up a lot. And collect the presents that randomly drop from yourself.
Goto options > Keyboard > Advanced > Enable Console. Press the ` key under the ESC key and type in connect 46.4.126.76:27300 , always empty and 2s spawn time.

LEFT 4 DEAD 2 kill special infected in versus mode and they drop presents. collect 3 and you complete the objective.

DAY OF DEFEAT SOURCE simply loadup the game and creat a server, now to get the presents you must kill youself repeatedly with say a rriffle grenade. When you die sometimes you drop a present but mostly you will just die. how long it takes depends on the drop rate.

COUNTERSTRIKE SOURCE create own server and place maximum bots on with knifes only and in one round you'll have your 3 presents.

If you have recieved a gift you don't want maybe somebody else will and maybe they have what you want. with the new trading from inventory you all could trade with anyone within english voice and use the main page or even the chat channel to post what you have. There is also an event scheduled through the week at 6:00PM and 9:00PM UK-GMT. You maybe suprised as to what people will trade.

To use the chat room you can get there by going to the main group page and on the right-hand side you see "enter chat" under the actions section or by clicking on the down arrow directly after "TRADE - Game / Gift" in the friends/group list.

To trade simply open your friends list then if you want to trade with a member of "TRADE - Game / Gift" select groups and open our group in your friends list. Then you right click on anyone in either your group or friends list and click invite to trade. This brings up the trade window where you can see what each of you places in the trade once you are both happy you need to tick the accept offer box and then press the trade button.
