O NeonHeight's Servers

The original servers that started the trade_minecraft_neon map! We run micspam-allowing trade servers to hang out in, 24/7.

This is the official group for NeonHeights' TF2 Community. The servers are fully owned and operated by NeonHeights, if you have any questions concerning the server leave a comment on NeonHeights' profile or contact one of the head admins (we're listed as Officers in the members tab).

We mainly run Canadian servers but have a couple servers located in New York as well. NeonHeights created the "trade_minecraft_neon" map back in March 2012, and it is now the most well known, and longest updated Minecraft map on TF2.

Hundreds of thousands of players worldwide have played on the famous map since it was created, and it is one of the main reasons our community is so well known.

We set set up a lifetime donation program in 2012, and currently have over 1,200 donators! Donators get access to commands on the server that can improve their experience and make things more enjoyable, as well as helping us pay for our monthly server bills. Donators have access to anything from friendly mode and noclip to spawning the Horsemann and a Golden Wrench. Anyone can donate, but we ask that you read over our list of rules if you intend to use commands in the servers (check our website for more info).

Obligatory happy new years post ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ

I wanted to give thanks to all the mods and admins who work hard for us. They've done did a great job again this year, and I'm happy with the 10/10 team that we have. If you see one around, give them a big box of lenny shaped chocolates and tell them thanks ;)

A special thanks to Kwas who recently created our website forums. I've always wanted a forums site that wasn't on Steam and now that want has become a reality.

Idle Server Map Update

The Idle Server has been updated to v27 thanks to our lovely Bio Benny. These are the following changes:

New Area: Railways - - a railway with a couple offices and a power facility

ART
Main Art Changes:
- Halloween is finally over
- The sun is out, the map now looks like it’s in a constant state of being 3 PM
- Lavaducts have been cosmetically reworked (for the most part)

Most notable art additions:
- Detail rooms have been added to the sniper deck
- Mirrors in the bathrooms are now actual mirrors and not a window
- Lavaducts lounge and and hall are now much more detailed and smooth
- Trophy room has been restructured
- Lounge leading to the top of the map is a lot more thematic
- Lights adjusted to fit the changes of the room structures
- Pipes are no longer octagonal
- Most floor/ceiling textures changed map-wide
- Put in a few more memes and changed some more textures/made some stuff more smooth
- Glass has been replaced with a less reflective-more clear glass type
- Projector has been restored

STRUCTURE
- Stairways have been added outside of spawn to utilize the grated level between the first floor and the sniper deck

GAMEPLAY
Technical changes:
- Gravity “should” be normal
- Skybox now opens on entry
- Office accessible via the +use puzzle is now open for all, +use puzzle is gone entirely
- All fire pits have been reduced in damage to encourage more fighting in them (5 dmg instead of 25), other than the main idle fire pit
- Main idle fire pit had insta-kill fire pillar removed -- both due to optimization purposes, but to let players kill the idlers
- Center bridge, and the outdoor Lavaducts pipe area have had their railings adjusted slightly to encourage more free movement, may reduce more at a later date

OPTIMIZATION
- Area portals have been added so you only load a chunk of the map at a time, you’ll see the difference trust me :wink:
