Total War Tournaments for North American Time Zones

The competitive total war scene is dominated by our friends across the Atlantic. Unfortunately this means that many tournaments start at times that are not convenient for North American players. It also makes it difficult to arrange matches with players halfway across the world as well as deal with lag. This group is founded with the intention of hosting competitive total war tournaments in USA time zones.

Of course non-Americas players are welcome to join if they are available during tournament times (usually 7 pm USA central time)

Please have good sportsmanship. You will be banned from participating if not.

3 Kingdoms Opening Day Flash Tournaments

With 3 Kingdoms being released Thursday, NAFT will follow the TW tradition of hosting opening-day flash tournaments so that we can all learn about the game in a competitive setting. Therefore, I will be hosting 2 FLASH TOURNAMENTS on Thursday for 3K. One will be earlier for North Americans, but hopefully at a good time for Euros, and the second will be a bit later so as to be good for NA players. Tell your friends to come and play as well!

Flash Tournament Times:
#1: 9 pm GMT (5 EST)

#2: 1 am GMT (9 EST)

To play:
Be in the NAFT group chat before the start time, and I'll add you to the bracket.

I will host both flashes, so if you have questions/comments/concerns, ask me. Obviously, it's difficult to give details on rules, since we don't know really much about money, factions, unit strengths, etc. That's the point of the fash, really.

We will have most of Thursday to come up with rules, and I will create a ruleset for the flashes before they start.

After the flash tournaments, I will open a discussion thread so we can talk about what went well, what rules might need to be added, etc. I will probably host subsequent flash tournaments for 3k every few days following release.

Since after this mounth I will have very little time to host tournaments I intend on going out with a bang.

Join group chat 10 minutes prior as the brackets and the maps for each round will be posted there. Also please make sure to sight up bellow and tell me wich flash you are joining (you can join both). Both tournaments are bo1 till finals and 3rd place match wich are bo3.

Not to mention that rules as no pullthrough (unless unit is mostly knocked down), camping and any other dishonourable behaviour are valid for both flashes and any violation of any of them will result in disqualification. Also both players should try to reach a consensus about their factions, but if they can't then top of the bracket picks first.
