Today is universal rate 50 modbox maps day!

TL:DR: go HERE and rate all the maps you know!

Whats is it:
a day occurring every month where you spend an hour playing and rating as many maps as you can!

Why:
The workshop is filled with clutter. Many maps are arbitrary nonsense and not definitively designed for people to play. If we all rate a whole bunch of maps, it will make the workshop better for us, and more importantly new comers.

What’s in it for me, I don’t really feel like doing this:
Do it from a web browser on a smart phone, most people know which maps they like. If your really awesome however, you will actually spend time playing some new stuff. This is a group effort, the goal is what’s in it for all of us.

How often does universal rate 50 modbox maps day occur.?
Every month.


What is worth a thumbs up and what’s worth a thumbs down-

A thumbs up:

• is a map with a gameplay purpose, even if that is to do rediculous things lol.
• A thumbs up should also be maps that are genuinely fun,
  
• high effort level design maps are also most definitely worth a thumbs up.

A thumbs down:

• maps designed to report bugs (down votes prevent these maps from being seen from general public), these maps should be set to hidden.
  
• A map that is a carbon copy of some one else’s work.
  
• A map with almost nothing in it.
  
• A map breaking any of steam’s or alientraps rules of conduct.
  
• Any map used for any purpose other than enjoying modbox.

note: good maps that are broken from modbox updates should not be subject to down votes.

Some rules for today.

1, No griefing, Destroying other peoples homes and stuff is jsut rude, Dont.
2. No NPC when game starts, Npc are hard on Multiplayer servers, Save it for Singeplayer.
3. Please freeze all your props, or as many as you can
Sometimes things apeer frozen but are infact not, try grabbing it and Freeze it in your radial menu.
