Mirrors Edge 2 has been announced by EA in their E3 Press Conference showing off the amazing work DICE has been doing in developing a sequel to one of the most underrated games of 2008.

The trailer shows a younger Faith gaining her Messenger Tattoos and defeating some Heavily Armed Police officers. Glass smashes realistically as Faith punches in the glass helmet of an attacking officer while water runs down, trickling in between the gaps and cracks of a wall in what appears to be a sewer.

It's coming "When It's ready".

Mirrors Edge 2 has been announced by EA and is being worked on by a small team from DICE, no release date has been announced yet.

Mirrors Edge is coming to iPhone and iPod Touch in January, with full 3D graphics, but it isn't First-Person, its now a Side Scroller.
