I've played over 150 hours on L4D and the survival add-on accounted for a decent portion of that. At £27, that works out at 18p/hour for great entertainment! Do the boycotters really think they can get better value for money elsewhere? Granted, the original CS and Wolfenstein Enemy Territory were free but realistically game developers do need to make a living at the end of the day and I'm happy to support them if, like Valve, they're making great products.
