Welcome to the Ivory Tower Roleplay Community!

so, as many of you may have noticed, our server has had some pretty lackluster attendance since we first got it, to today. I am formally canceling the server. I cannot justify the cost per month with the seeming lack of interest I have seen from the community in playing day z on it. To that end, I have a couple of reccomendations for people if they are still looking for for an alternative to our server for a roleplay environment:

DayzSaga is a young community. It was founded by the mod staff from DayzRP when they branched off to start their own thing. Their rules are more restrictive than ours, and their whitelist process is a bit more difficult. I would also like to stress that this is a more serious rp environment that is lore driven, and our more fun, or random characters that many of us have played on flashmob and ivory tower will not be allowed. They also have an age minimum of 16. If you are younger than 16, you will not be able to go here.

For those of you who are younger than 16, or looking for something more like what we have here, I would suggest Dayz freedom RP. Those guys were from flashmob as well and their rules are actually pretty nice. I also appreciate their use of permadeath. Keep a few characters ready. Dayz is a harsh game and death can be found.. Like, everywhere, man. I mean, seriously. I stepped of a curb and died. This game is really kill happy.

That being said, the server will be up for 22ish more days. After that, it will fall off the grid, and then the IP will be repurposed by multiplay.

The community itself will continue to exist, however for more generalized gaming. I am personally about to hit season 4 on diablo 3 for the next few days, so if anyone is interested in that, see me in ts.

The ts will remain up for general use. The rules will be more relaxed, though the oldies but goldies will still apply.

No hate speak, no sexism.. that sort of thing. Common sense is going to be your best friend in this regard. I also reserve the right to ban cagenado at will, as has been the custom. You guys have fun!
