DeltaGun, upgrade wisdom which affects your chance to hit with spells. Certain spells have a higher/lower chance of hitting their enemies. Also enemies natural magic immunity affects your
chance to hit with spells, aswell as buff/nerfs.

DeltaGun: You don't have enough skill points invested in the respective field of magic and/or you are using magic against too tough an enemy (based on his level and various resistances, mainly the magic one).

How to kill him

Gameplay question: Why do all my offensive spells fail and say "Spell failed: 25%" ? How do I make my priest be an actual caster damnit, lol. The manual says nothing about spells failing. Seals work fine and so do defensive spells.

I always thought that Inquisitor didn't have a forced V-Sync. I guess I will have to look at the display more properly next time. As far as patching is concerned, it depends on what would be necessary to patch - changes in maps or scripts shouldn't be a problem, but anything code-related is infeasible. But I guess that since the game received ten patches in the meantime already, there shouldn't be anything terrible left in it.

How's the patching/updating? I'm sure there's still bugs and problems in the game, so will there be any? Also, I learned of the forced v-sync, which tends to cause mouse lag and similar issues. It's something I always turn off because most games rarely have any issues without it and more with it on. Anything about those?

Would really like to see a real forum for this game, community is very important to me for the games that I purchase. As such I've not yet purchased the game on GOG because the official site's "forum" is little more than a way of leaving a message which may or may not get answered let alone have a discussion. If there is an official forum elsewhere please post the url and or make it available on the official Inquisitor RPG site please.

This game really needs to be on Steam. I was contemplating ordering it GOG, but I'd really like it here if at all possible. Vote it up!

about beta keys: Thanks for your interest, guys, but we have enough testers now. The thing is, members of the original development team of Inquisitor went their separate ways long time ago which means that we can make only small changes in the game now (mostly in English translation and some scripts). Because of that it would be superfluous to have hundreds of testers, a few tens is more than enough.

I never heard about this game until yesterday when I saw a news about it on RPS. This really looks like it would be my kind of game. Like many here, I truly hope it will be released either on Steam or GoG or possibly both. Good luck to you guys !
