Guilty Gear Xrd presumably takes place at least a year after the events of Guilty Gear 2: Overture (2186), as Sol's blade is marked with a pending patent, registered "Jan 15, 2187." In the first trailer, Sol confronts Ky over an unknown "punk" with a bounty on their head, declaring that the world is screwed if he doesn't win. Ky stands in his way, demanding that he wait for back-up and take time to assess the situation. The two then do battle. Millia is also seen confronting Eddie.

Guilty Gear XRD NA Release date

Guilty Gear XRD is scheduled to be released on PS3 & 4 this December in North America, only 12 days after the official Japanese launch.

Though, I'm not going to be surprised if a few delays happen.

Ill be hosting late night games for a bit for PC version. I noticed a severe lack of lobbies and hopefully people can find a room to practice.

Not sure if I myself would be on the Steam version too much either if I got it, especially with the impending release of Revelator coming. Considering all the mechanical changes that entry would do though, maybe vanilla XRD would still be preferable to some people.

We'll see.
