A month later reply. Dustbowl died down after the dproto plugin stopped working for a bit & players ended up migrating to other EVIL servers. Once the server was back up and running, the hype pretty much died down. It hasn't been until recently that activity on dustbowl has picked up again.

TLDR; Nonsteam players weren't able to get on the server to make it active, so steam players never joined.

Been out of the loop for a few months. What happened to EVIL Dustbowl? That server used to be packed with regulars all day and night. We should try hosting a pickup/event for it. Nothing beats a good round of Dustbowl
