Introduction

Welcome to the this week's Hammer's Fist Weekly BT Report!

This past week as seen so much progress towards the Ultimate goal of the Hammer's Fist return that everyone is getting very excited and maybe a little frustrated. I'm just going to make this simple we ALL must be patient. As you all know Rapier and Havok have receive our plan and request to reopen the fist. They are also real people with Families, jobs and other responsibilities. I know they will be reaching out to us in good time. So please be patient we will inform you of any changes as soon as we can. Until then get gaming and spread the word!

The Consul awarded some members Promotions and awards that have been due them for past achievements Congrats ACO Arch, SBM Plif and Myself.

There is ALOT of overflow and to prevent this report from getting too long (TOO LATE), ACO Arch will be releasing a report covering the rest.

If you are interested in joining the HF please let me know and please NOTE: This not a call to abandon your current sub group or other gaming clubs, but if you currently like to double dip for medals the HF is a new opportunity for you to even triple dip!!!

News

Sub Group Update - Nothing major yet but we hope to hear and make waves soon. Our Roster currently includes Leo, Len Eode, Seraphol, Trideo Arkson, Doyon and Junazee. These members are not active members of the EHDB or not part of this BT.

The Biggest News is the Creation of the HF Fiction Team Seraphol, Delak, Len Eode and Zephon have volunteered to create the HF Origin story bridging the gap between the past and the Present. This weeks piece of Fiction was written by Delak and I hope to be able to feature more of their fiction in the weeks to come.

Competitions and Gaming Weekends - Our first Comp is over and the Winners are SWL Drachen in 1st with 23, Arch in 2nd (20 wins) and Sparky can in 3rd with 8 wins. The Second Gaming weekend will end tonight and it's been a slow weekend for gaming but I'm still proud to report in our 1st comp we had 7 out of 14 members participate (50%!!!!) that's Awesome guys!

Fiction - Reemergence by SBM Delak Krennel

The skies of Carida, Delak had almost forgotten how beautiful the world’s skies were. Calm and peaceful. It had been 11 years since he was ousted by a tyrannical dictator named Astatine. His love of the Fist was second to none. He had been the Commander of Operations of the Hammer’s Fist for a while before he was left out to dry like yesterday’s news. He had made the rank of Lieutenant Colonel of the old Fist before he left for the outer rim territories. The Hammer’s Fist had been disbanded shortly after he had left and all of his friends had gone away, whether dead or alive he did not know.
Walking from the old spaceport was not as long as he remembered it. The grass around the place had grown tall from lack of care and the buildings he found were in shambles. The once mighty Hammer’s Fist was naught but a pile of rubble. This would not do. Delak had been contacted by Ulrich Drachen and Sparky about the possibility of the Fist being resurrected. Delak though older still had the itch to be an elite trooper. His sniper skills had been honed over the last 11 years, he had also kept his E-11 Blaster Rifle close by his side at all times and maintained it daily. It was hard for the old trooper to break the habit.
Delak entered into one of the old command buildings and found the office of the Commander of Operations. His old stomping grounds. The desk office was in disarray, covered in dust and cobwebs. He couldn’t believe that it had gotten this bad. He would never have let the Fist down like this if he had had a choice. No matter, things were going to be different this time around. They were going to get a Command Staff together again and start the training of new cadets with promising futures. This was where it ended and where it would begin again. Delak knew no one would make it easy for the group of hopefuls but they would do their very best to bring about a new time in the Hammer’s Fist. All he had to do now was to wait for his friends and comrades to arrive. This would be the best reunion in years. Awards: Each week the top three members with receive a Crescent with Emerald Star for 1st place, a Crescent with Topaz Star for 2nd place, and a Crescent with Quartz Star for 3rd place. At the end of the month the top three members with receive a Crescent with Amethyst Star for 1st place, a Crescent with Sapphire Star for 2nd place, and a Crescent with Emerald Star for 3rd place.

Description:
Informants have been arriving with information about an alarming number of beings asking very pointed questions about the defenses and lay-out of the Dark Hall of Eos. This has been happening on a majority of EH planets, but most recently on the planet Sif. Your are tasked with traveling to the City of Juraas-Kur, finding those asking questions, and ascertaining what their ultimate goal is. Opening Remarks

Welcome to my first quick report as BTL of the Hammer's Fist. As many are aware and to those who aren't this BT was created to be the precursor to the reopening of the Hammer's Fist Sub Group. The Hammer's Fist has been closed for many years but over the last couple of years interest in the HF has grown steadily within the EH eventually bringing us to this grand endeavor.

In the Last couple weeks NOV Sparky, NOV Archenksov and I have taken great leaps toward the ultimate goal of seeing the HF rise again. We have also been joined by a few like minded souls and together with them, and any EH member wanting to take part in this adventure, we believe the HF will be back to full SG status soon!

General News

The Hammer's Fist has it's own mail group, Message board and Telegram room for us to exchange ideas and coordinate GAMING! We already have 21 SW:BF2 matches completed with 13 of those earning Cof's (pending) in the DB (as of the time of this report).

We are looking to run our first gaming event this weekend and next weekend so if anyone is interested in joining the fun please contact me directly.

Also if you are interested in joining the HF BT to be part of the new SG again please contact Crsepe, Pell and myself about a transfer.

Closing Remarks

We are further then I would have ever imagined and there is no sign of us slowing down now. Sparky, Arch and I are polishing up our 6 month plan to submit to the Fleet Commander and hopefully we will have some great news about the future of the HF soon.

In the Meantime HF gaming has begun and we are looking for more BF2 players (until BF3 comes out) and we got guys looking for EaW matches as well. So come join the FUN!

It is time to do some competition in our STO Fleet. Every month I count the contributions of the Members to the Fleet. This will be sorted in a rankinglist for every of the 4 sections. Additional to that there will be an overall rankinglist. One high active Member in all 4 sections is able to grab up to 5 awards! Additional to that we have the small ancillary effect that our Fleet increases in level and functionality.

We’re moving forward in the Dark Brotherhood and adopting Star Trek Online as a new platform for member activity. This effort has been spearheaded by SW Pellaeon and I have appointed him as Praetor to the Grandmaster to continue his excellent work on promoting and developing the game for our group. STO is a free to play MMORPG, features some excellent space combat, and has both regular content added and frequent in game special events.

We currently have several members already in our in game fleet and our Fleet (guild) resources are developing rapidly. If you’re already playing STO and want to join the Fleet to get recognized for your activity and get access to our Fleet resources simply message a Fleet member in game. SW Pellaeon’s handle is @Arcion and mine is @tmontte, though any Fleet member that hold the in game rank of Lieutenant or above should be able to invite you. If you are having trouble joining, are new to the game and want to get involved, or just have questions in general I invite you to email me or message me on Steam (my Steam handle is [EH] Hitman ) and I’ll be glad to help out.

How do you earn rewards? Pellaeon will be tracking activty and submitting a monthly report to myself, MAA Elwood the Brave, and Consul Crsepe, along with recommendations for awards and promotions. Leveling your character(s), donating to the Fleet, Special Task Force Missions, Fleet Actions, and PvP will all be considered. We can track Fleet donations easily in game, everything else needs to be reported by you to Praetor Pellaeon via email. Attach screenshots wherever possible. As an additional note, PvP will also reward Clusters of Fire in addition to activity tracking. Any PvP screenshots should also be cc:ed to Consul Crsepe as well for Sword of Drakonan purposes and activity in STO will be rewarded on the same basis as activity on TOR for SoD.

As we move forward we’d also like to create Battleteams focused on STO, what form they take is largely up to you the members. You might have a team focused on clearing story content, or running PvE events (STO equivalent of Raids), or PvPing regularly, or even roleplaying. Find like minded individuals and we’ll help you get set up. Keep in mind that as these teams form, one member will need to assume the position of Battleteam Leader to assist in tracking activity, set up events and competitions, and forward rank and award recommendations to Praetor Pellaeon. If you’re interested in a leadership role in a particular activity for STO, let me know and we’ll get you set up.

I look forward to seeing you in game and showing the Universe that the Emperor’s Hammer is a force to be reckoned with, even in a galxy not so far away.

Greetings Fellow Sith,

It’s that time of year again. Time for candy, flowers, jewelry and lots of very un-Sithy things. It’s also time once again for slaying the undead legions. Come join us for our latest Killing Floor event, “The St. Valentine’s Day Massacre.”

We will be running Killing Floor rounds on the Dark Brotherhood Killing Floor server from 8:30 EST until at least 10:30 EST on the 13th and 15th. As with our previous events the player with highest score of a winning round (the Patriarch is killed) will receive a Cluster of Fire (CF) and the overall point leader for each night will receive a Kaiburr Star (KS). This is also a pop-in/pop-out event so don’t worry if you have to come late. But please sign up on the event page on the Enjin site if you plan on coming so we can plan for server space.

We are also introducing a new mechanic for this event where the participants will vote for the “Team player of the night.” This will recognize a player other than the point leader who, in the eyes of his/her teammates, contributed the most to the team’s success. The player voted “Team player of the night” will also receive a Kaiburr Star (KS).

So whether your 14th is full of love and romance or pints of ice-cream, bad movies, and boxed wine come join us on the 13th and 15th for some zombie killing mayhem. If you have questions about the event please contact me.
