I was interested in trying to get into competitive TF2, and a link brought me here. I'd like to know if this group is still alive at all. If it isn't, can someone send me somewhere where I can get my start in playing competitively?

No one responded. No one wanted to play. No one else wanted to put up an announcement besides me. No one wanted to pay for the server. I needed to take a break from TF2 and no one played any games while I was away.

I'm sick of people breaking this rule and dumping on other players-namely $padez-yea, he made some mistakes in the past, beut really we cant hold them over his head-as long as he folows the rules and obays his team leader, can you guys please stop dumping on him ?

no problem shwan- Its just hard to get 12 people together when I dont have admin- miraculously6 that time I did but I no alotof the people in the group so I could get a decent pug going =P

the server we pug on varies depending on what servers are avaliable. We post the info in vent however. You also can always ask in vent.

I cant find the PUG server. Ever.

For some reason I never get notified when a new announcement is posted.

Open Vent. Click on the arrow on the "server" line. In the box that pops up, click "new" (if it doesn't come up already--I'm not sure what happens the first time one starts Vent), and enter the CP server info (listed on this group page). Hit "OK", do something similar for username if you haven't already (again, I don't remember if it guides you through this the first time you install >_< ). Then hit the "Connect" button to connect to the server! Double-click on the pickup games channel and have fun.

Please see me in vent for what to do with your demos for the frag video! I will be constructing the video itself, depending on player amount, I want between 20-30 clips, and you MUST mark the demo's in a notepad file from start tick and end tick of the scene you want please! Let me see if I've got this straight: I wait for a game to be announced, open up Ventrillo, join the PUG channel, get assigned to a team, and then join the server to play, yes?

Hey guys I won't (probably) pug untill after chritmas break, my mum is going (bandage in hand, if you got it you get it) is going to holland to visit her sister and I will be at my dads house for a while whjere having 2 younger siblings who will definentally mess with my account prevents me from playing, so I'll see you all on the 27th =( bye

How do you use Ventrilo? And also, are their PUGs going on in the evening GMT, because I live in the UK and I know most of the people who play this will be going by American time?

The mumble is a more private server that we use for scrims and matches. If CPPUGS wanted to use it as well we would be happy, as long as someone could foot the $5 bill every 3 months.

For some reason, everytime i enter a PUG or scrim. My game crashes, in pubs im fine. Would anyone know why this is happening?

I know me and Wilko have been saying we were slotted for d5, and indeed were WERE, but after beating out EVGA in 7v7 ladder last night to take the #1 spot we have been moved to d3c.

I belieive the only mumble (that i'm aware of) is the HD/EoV for scrims.

By the way, can we get mumble information posted along with the vent? I heard u guys got one set up.
