I don't like to be that nit-picky person, but someone needs to ask: is there any chance that Ace Combat 7 could add a gender option? The character "Trigger" is never seen or heard, only spoken TO, so I feel like adding the option wouldn't be that hard. You would have to edit some dialogue and redo voice acting to add correct pronouns. Currently, the character defaults to a cisgendered male, and I feel that excludes non-binary gendered players. Normalization is important. It should not big deal to have a trans character, because it isn't. Baldur’s Gate 3 does it right.
Also, you should include more diverse characters and ensure that the voice acting is non-stereotyped. Ace Combat 7 only has Huxian and Wiseman as non-white characters. Wiseman's speech is blatantly stereotyped. These changes will do nothing but *gain* you more devoted fans who will respect your attention to diversity. It might even help you increase your sales! Win-win for everyone, right?
