Celebrating the release of Ryukishi's masterpiece!

To celebrate my favourite festival from my favourite series, the release of Higurashi When they Cry: Chapter 2 - Watanagashi, as well as all subsequent 07thExpansion titles released on Steam, this group will organise community events, discussions and giveaways for each title!

The forums for each game are a great place to meet people interested in the games, and to discuss specifics about each individual game, but if you want to join a community that will be following each release as it happens, without moving to a different forum each time, this is the place for you!

Hopefully I'll manage to arrange a bunch of cool stuff to do before each release, and there will be at least 5 Steam preorder keys available to win for each game. I'll also share helpful links to useful mods that the community creates, all available from right here.

So get ready, because 07thExpansion is coming to Steam, Higurashi and Umineko at the moment, Higanbana and Rose Gun Days maybe still to come. It's begun, it's going to be great, but the question is "Are you ready for Watanagashi?"

PS. If anyone was wondering, the character on the group logo is "Hou", the name of the compilation of 14 Higurashi games planned to release on Steam. At least I think it is "Hou"...

Higurashi Rei giveaway lottery [CLOSED]

A bit late on this, but it's time for the Higurashi Rei giveaway! Ten prizes up for grabs.

All typical rules apply: the chapter will be handed out as a steam gift (i.e., a non-tradeable gift copy sent directly; this means you must accept a friend request from admin Alice in order to receive the prize if you win, you will not be able to send it to someone else, and you will not be able to accept the prize if you already own it), one entry per person, no entries by proxy (if you have a friend you want to participate then they must be the one who enters), and the winnings must be accepted within 7 days of the lottery closing.
