Even oh highest difficulty the game is a snooze fest in my opinion. It is really really boring and the AI is really really dumb. Sadly after 7 hours i couldn't get a refund anymore.

I've been playing games for almost 50 years and this game has the most poorly done combat AI of any game I've ever played. Enemies can't see you past 30 yards away. You can just shoot them, crouch for stealth, and become immediately invisible as far as they are concerned even if you are standing in the open. If you run away they forget about you in about 30 seconds and return to their patrol routes. The starting enemies actually warn you before attacking, which is funny because you can run in, kill one, run away, then they'll warn you again when you return as they forgot you just killed their buddy a minute ago. They also have poor pathfinding and strategy. Either running back and forth not knowing where to go next. Or taking cover and just letting you walk up to them without attacking back.

Weapon damage is really inconsistent The rifle weapon took 5 headshots to kill a single enemy. I threw a grenade into a crowd of enemies but only one enemy died. Meanwhile the shotgun killed an enemy in one hit. Throwing knives also kill in one or two kits. Ammo is really limited so the best strategy is to just throw melee weapons after the enemies forget about you and pick them up again.

There is no dodge or other kind of defense for enemies trying to hit you. But you can just run away to the nearest bushes, crouch right in front of them, and they won't know where you are.

You trade for goods with traders, but your backpack space is really limited while loot from killed enemies is all over the map. So in a sense you have a lot of items to trade but you have to remember where the enemy dead bodies are. So grab a bunch of loot, drop it in front of the trader, and go back and forth until you can buy what you want. It's really tedious because it's hard to remember where all the enemy bodies are.

The limited backpack space is also annoying because you run out of weapons to throw in the middle of combat if there are a lot of enemies. But at the same time some enemies lack aggression to such a degree, or get confused by the pathfinding, I can just stand there in the open to pick my weapons back up and throw them again.

Having said all that, the game is fun in a kind of stupid way because the graphics and sounds are good and make it feel satisfying to just run around and slaughter everything.

Great game that does not hold your hands with plenty to explore and multiple endings.

Heads up the DLC's are basically additional endings with a new zone to explore for each DLC.
